    Call your doctor
This.  If you have a medical concern your doctor is who you should be asking.

    Anniversary

  • I've had some bouts with upper abdominal/chest pain which could be heartburn or indigestion, but we're not diagnosticians and don't want to be responsible for giving medical advice, so check with your health care provider.
  • Hey I am 30 weeks and a few days and have been having really bad upper abdominal pain and chest pain for about 3 hours now I was thinking I just ate too much but for it to still be this bad I'm kind of scared. I couldn't even bend over to get my shoes off my fiance had to get them for me. Any advice

OP, who knows if you're going to read this but it sounds a lot to me like the acid attacks I used to get, which turned out to be gallbladder related. As PPs have said, call your doc cause they may want to do an abdominal ultrasound to check things out.

If she hadn't have done a DD I would have said the exact same thing. When my gall bladder called it quits I suffered through that same pain either A) for hours or B) until I forced myself to vomit

  • Another vote for gall bladder issues! I had a similar sounding experience that actually led to some beautiful 7 min long contractions with 30 second breaks... and then an emergency c-section. Take those pains seriously!

I hate to break it to you, dear tabitha, but as kind of you as it was to take the time out of your life to share your experiences, I sincerely doubt the original poster will ever read your efforts. She appears to have already fled the scene.

Good luck to OP then because until I stopped and advocated for myself, mine was misdiagnosed as a stomach bug or food poisoning which could have been a deadly mistake.

Eh, even if she never comes back, it can serve as a PSA to those moms that may read this and then find themselves in that uncomfortable "there-is-a-rubberband-around-my-lungs-and-it-hurts-like-a-mother-and-I-cant-breathe-but-there-is-no-way-this-is-labor" predicament.
