Hi Ladies! I thought I might peek in and say hello to all!

Just as a quick intro-I'm 36 and my DH is 30. This is our first baby and we're team pink! I could not be more excited.

My husband and I were TTC for a year, and we were told that there was no real reason why I couldn't conceive, it just wasn't happening. After we stopped trying, it happened

I'm wishing all of you happy and healthy pregnancies and little ones! I've been reading around for awhile, such great advice here and it's nice to have a group of ladies around my age experiencing similar things!

Congrats and welcome! it's funny how many surprise pregnancies there are. I've been begging DH for about a year for a third child and he kept saying no. So finally I came to grips with the fact that we had one perfect boy and one perfect girl and it was ok to stop there. All of my friends kept saying.. ''well things happen' or 'oops babies happen'.. things like that. And I thought yeah.. oops babies happen to OTHER people.. not to me.. that never happens to me.. I'm never the girl that just oops gets pregnant and I doubt I could sneak clomid and ovulation testers into the house without DH knowing. lol Then boom.. here I am.. 18 weeks 2 days pregnant with our 'oops' baby. lol Couldn't be happier.

Welcome! It always seems like that happens. Dh and I were trying for a year too and were told because of his sperm we would most likely need to do ivf; as soon as we came to terms with that (and were going to do do it in the spring) we found out we got preg on our own.
Congrats!!! How far along are you?
