Premature birth at week 30

After a nice dinner on November 27 my water broke. My boyfriend drove me to the hospital. I didn't have labour pains so I figured all would be fine... I was admitted and monitored over night. The next morning I had an emergency c-section because our heart rates and blood pressure were dropping.

Baby was born on November 28th he is now 6 weeks old and getting bigger and stronger every day.

There is still no explanation why this happened. Either way, we are both doing great :)

    Glad to hear all is going well! I had my DS 2 years ago at 29 weeks. It's a tough road with a preemie. Get on the Preemie parenting page for some great support from other preemie mommies :-) Best wishes to all!
