I didn't realize how emotional it would be for me. It has been so hard being away from him and trying to make sure he knows just how special and loved he is.

I could hold you for a million years
to make you feel my love.
Thank you! I'm am so terrified of having an 18 month old and a new born. It's all uncharted territory for me. I stress about how I'm going to manage nursing, going to the store alone with them, the tantrums, the baby crying needing me ect ect ect.
I know I'll get through it, I have to. This is why I'm in no rush having him come now. I know what's in store for me, and it's easier caring for him on the inside.
I was genuinely nervous about DS visiting at the hospital. Would he even acknowledge his new baby sister? And then he shows up and coos, "oooh, nice baby!"
I was nervous bringing Emily home, thinking about what DS's response would be. More, "oh, niiiiice baby!", and then he hugged her and gave her a kiss, and my heart melted and I almost cried.
This was awesome to read. DS is super jealous and acting out. My mom is here to help until the 23rd and I'm kind of freaking out about what will happen when she leaves. Good to know that others feel this way!
