Boston Babies

Mansfield area

Hi there! We are moving back to MA next month after 10 years in Baltimore. We have family in the area but no connections to people with kids in Mansfield where we bought a house. Any suggestions for daycare for a 3 year old? I'd like it to be a daycare center or church school (we are not particularly religious but have had a good experience with a Presbyterian church preschool) rather than in home. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I called Littlle a Trails Learning a Center and The Barnyard School today and they both have openings. Thanks!!!

Re: Mansfield area

  • Wheaton college in Norton has a day care on campus. The early ed students observe play and kids interactions through one way glass but the it's a great program for children. It's obviously not a "home" care but the numbers do stay really low so your little one gets lots of attention.

A brand new daycare just opened on 106. It's across from the farm (name escapes me) and near the Easton border. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but if you drive down 106 from 140 it will be on your left. It doesn't have a big sign yet.

  • Thanks for the responses ladies! We ended up at The Barnyard School in Mansfield. This week was the first week. So far so good!
