Septum resection

I have a septate uterus and am having my septum removed at the end of the month. Any one undergone this procedure? What was your experience? How long did you have to wait after before you started TTC?
DD born 2/1/2011: Pregnant on the first try! Happy,healthy breech baby :)

Began TTC sibling 8/2012
MC Twins 6/13/2013 :(
3 rounds of clomid Summer 2014
Normal sperm analysis 8/2014 
HSG revealed Uterus Didelphys (Two uterus) 8/2014
Referred to specialist, who found I had been misdiagnosed 
Diagnosed with septate uterus 11/2014
Septum resection scheduled for 1/28/2015

    I had a resection in May then the next IUI late June (BFN) with the first IVF in late August (BFP, then loss).

    I HIGHLY suggest they check for scarring after the procedure and before any additional cycles with an SHG. That will also help you feel as though you are ready to move on.

    IVF #2, BFP #2, Loss #2 March 2013, Scar tissue discovered, RPL testing,
    IVF #3, BFP #3, Loss #3 (twins) September 2013
    Hostile ute, moving onto Gestational Carrier!

    GC/FET #1 of 1 5AA blast and 1 compacted blast, February 2014, BFP #4 on 3/1/2014!
    6w u/s 1 bean with h/b of 145 bpm, 8w u/s 187 bpm
    EDD 11/7/14. Please, please, please stick little one!

    Praying unceasingly for a miracle. ALL welcome!

    Thank you @lincoln79‌ I planned to ask for a follow-up HSG and am so glad you confirmed that for me! I hope that you see success soon! Us separate uterus girls have to stick together ;)

    Request both a HSG (using X-rays) and SHG (using ultrasound). The first won't show any scar tissue in the uterus.
