Re: Grad Check-In 1/9 **BFP's mentioned**
:-h Hi, ladies!
Madison turned 6 weeks yesterday! Man, how time flies! She is literally growing before our eyes. She makes eye contact now and gets this huge grin when she sees you. She is a champ at holding her head up and is so alert these days. I just cannot get enough of her. I went back to work this week, but my mom has been here with her so that has made the transition so much easier.
I love the idea for the check-in @snd1231. Here's my info.
How far along are you? Baby Madison arrived on Thanksgiving. She is 6 weeks old today.
Do you know the gender? It's a GIRL!
How many babies are you expecting? Only one came out (thanks goodness)
What was your diagnosis? IR PCOS, Stage 3 Endo, LPD and Adenomyosis.

QOTW: The first thing I bought was a little stuffed monkey. DH and I love monkeys and I used it to tell him I was KU. It sits in her nursery today.

Baby looked great though! Had a heart rate of 178 and was measuring at 9 weeks 4 days. The tech gave us lots of pictures. Baby was even moving all around. I couldn't believe it!! We go back Monday for an appt with the OB/GYN and lots and lots of bloodwork.
QOTW: I've only bought a stuffed elephant and really didn't originally buy it for me. My SIL is pregnant and I bought it for her. But, it was so stinking cute and she has become a horrible person I was praying I would get pregnant so I could have a reason to keep it (I know that probably sounds horrible). Anyway, when I got my betas back I tied a little sign around it's neck and gave it to DH. The sign said "Baby S______ due August 2015". The elephant sits on our nightstand as a reminder.

Mostly I am just uncomfortable and waiting impatiently! My doctor said today that at any point when I have had enough, I can go in to the hospital and they'll augment my labor with pitocin. It's what did the trick for my Mom after 3 days of labor with me back in the day, and I have made zero progress this week (still 2 cms dilated, 90% effaced, and only slight improvement is from a -1 to a 0 station), so I am feeling like it's inevitable. The plan is right now to hang on until Sunday or Monday to see if this starts picking up before I check myself in to evict this little guy.
QOTW: When I got my BFP, DH was out of town so I told him on the phone, and went out the next day after my beta and bought a onesie that said, "My Dad is Cooler than Your Dad." It was the only gender neutral onesie I liked.
Off birth control March 2012 - Actively trying Sept 2012-April 2014
BFP on May 5th after Follistim & IUI #3
@triathlete23 Yay for a heartbeat! I hope your results come back with no problems!
@ttuprincess Baby Madison sounds so cute! Also, love the little monkey!
@Radiantly Yay for a heartbeat! Try not to worry about the size yet. When I was with the RE they were bringing me in for weekly ultrasounds until I switched to my OB. Each week I looked at the little measurements and was always like, oh how cute! One week (I think 7 and 8) they said almost the exact same size. I started worrying and asked the nurse since I had the previous one in my purse. she looked at them both and said the tech measured the previous one a little too big. They are so small I think there's a little room for more mistakes. Not sure if that makes you feel better, but try not to worry!
@hbanana18 I'm so sorry about the accident! Glad you and baby are okay! Also, is that onesie from Gymboree? I have the same one! GL at your AS!
@sugar4bri GL at your next appointment! I am also having more worries sometimes after being on here and reading such sad stories. It is so hard not to worry. Hugs!
@DSculley1824 Glad your appointment went well! Try not to feel bad about your little elephant! I had a little elephant toy I bought for a friend's shower gift while we were ttc but I couldn't bring myself to give it to her. I kept it in the closet and plan to use it for my baby now! IF makes it so hard to hope that I'd ever get to use it for myself but buying it "for a friend" somehow made it okay. Now I can get things I want for myself!
@southernyankeegirl I hope little Ryan comes soon!
AFM, I'm 25w tomorrow and I still can't believe it sometimes! I'm feeling lots of movement which always makes me happy! I have started the quest for finding a pretty dress for my shower next month. I plan to do some shopping tomorrow! I've started "showing" my belly off at school a little more this week. I think before I was afraid to wear tight clothes to not draw attention to it but this week I'm definitely showing a lot and can't help it anymore! My students have started commenting and one boy today said, "your baby is getting big!". I know some people wouldn't like hearing they're "big" but it was so cute! I think it reminded me that my baby is growing and almost to third tri!
Anyway, I'm sending you all lots of hugs (I lurk your updates in the weekly check ins!) Also a congrats for the bfp I saw! Hope you all have a fun weekend!
QOTW: The first thing I bought was a book called "I love Daddy" that I gave my H when I told him I was pregnant. I bought it right before we started ttc so I had held on to it for awhile and would look at it every once in awhile and it would make me sad. Once I finally got to use it it meant that much more! I've bought lots of clothes since 12w + and I probably don't need any more for sizes newborn-6 months!
Do you know the gender? Yes! We just found out today from the MaterniT21 test that we are having a low risk baby BOY!
How many babies are you expecting? One
What was your diagnosis? MFI/azoospemia
What treatment worked for you to finally get your BFP? clomid/trigger/IUI(#3) with donor sperm
How are you feeling? Awesome! Sleeping and peeing a lot. And worrying about everything. But mostly awesome!
Have any important dr appts? Next Thursday. Just a check up I guess. Hopefully we get to hear the heartbeat on the doppler.
QOTW: What was/is the first thing you bought for the baby? Did it have any special significance or just because? A bathtub at a resale shop. It was the one I wanted and they don't really sell them anymore. Now that I know the sex I may pick up a few things here and there if I find a bargain!
Miss you guys and I hope everyday for you!
Do you know the gender? We are having a girl!!!
How many babies are you expecting? At 7 weeks we were expecting 3, but lost our set of identical twins at 8 weeks. We still have our single girl!
What was your diagnosis? PCOS
What treatment worked for you to finally get your BFP? 100 mg of Clomid
We started our registry last week, which has brought about a serious case of panics for me. Our house is under construction as we started this MAJOR project before we had or BFP and now I'm in my 6th month and we still are under massive construction. I started feeling our peanut about a week ago. She was facing back toward my spine, so kicks and movement weren't really obvious. She's also started kicking my ribs, which is causing some chest soreness. We almost made a trip to UrgentCare because of it. We have a follow up anatomy scan next week, to check out her heart. She wasn't being cooperative and the tech couldn't get a great image of all 4 chambers, so we'll get to see her again!!!
QOTW: What was/is the first thing you bought for the baby? Did it have any special significance or just because? The first thing I bought was an outfit that says, "I love hugs from daddy." for my husband.
