With DS1 I didn't feel him until 21w, my twins I didn't feel until 18w, last baby I was 16w, now I'm 16w5d and still haven't felt anything.
*and honestly, who cares how many times it's been asked, if you don't want to answer again, then just pass by. It probably takes you longer to tell everyone to search because it's already been asked than it would to just answer the question.

I felt my baby move at about 16 weeks. Now I feel him constantly and I'm about 19 and a half weeks. I have a tilted uterus and I was super skinny from loosing so much weight due to morning sickness so I think I felt him abnormally early.
When you'll feel your baby all depends on how much excess weight you have and the postioning of your baby. Everyone is different.
First comes love = November 2012 Then comes marriage = July 19th, 2014 Then comes baby = May 19th 2015 Praying for #2 ~6 week loss in January 2016 ~7 week loss in April 2016
I'm 19 weeks with #2 and I have felt "something:, but pretty much think it was gas. I'm a bit bummed as I thought I would have felt sooner with this being my second, but I know it will be sometime within the next month.
I felt them moving at around 16 weeks... I second guessed it, because my sister told me it was just gas.... but my midwife confirmed what I was feeling. I don't feel them all the time, but pretty consistent, especially in the car.
Also the position of your placenta will impact when you'll feel your baby. If you have an anterior placenta (between your baby and your front) it'll take longer than if you have a posterior (most common and located between your baby and your spine).

I think i have been feeling my baby move for about the past 2 weeks. I mentioned it to my OB at my last appointment and she said that I most likely was feeling the movement. I am 17 weeks 4 days today. I mostly feel the movement at night when i'm either sitting still on the couch or laying in bed.
I felt a drastic pang of movement at 17 weeks. It freaked me out at first (FTM). It felt like I went over a hill on a roller coaster. A quick drop of my stomach! Crazy. Now I feel flutters at 19 weeks. It was so distracting one day I krpt standing up at my desk. I'm bracing myself for the kicks haha.
Learning about what's going on with your body will make you feel so much better about what's going on and when to expect things. Plus, you'll avoid asking the same question over and over. Read it. Know it. Educate yourself.
@jamesriv -- Thanks for the post! I am creeping up on 16 weeks and have felt tiny flutters but still unsure if what I felt was anything other than my tummy rumbling, or gas. It's nice to read others posts from women who have maybe had children and experiences this, or first timers (like me) who don't really know what they are looking for. Yes, I have read all of these unknowns in books and Googled it! Sometimes, it's just better to listen to others who have experienced it, that may also have advice or just encouraging words. So, again, Thank you and sorry that there has to be catty and clearly hormonal women who can't either be positive or just politely pass on putting in their two sense, while ranting in there heads about the stresses of the news feed on The Bump.

QFP And it's two cents. Sense is like use common sense or a human has 5 senses. Now if you don't get that recurring posts like can be annoying then maybe you should be more active. Those of us who have been here since September/October find it quite irritating that some aren't willing to do the research or pick a dayum book. Educate yourself. Clearly you must be new, so shut it and learn our dynamic,

Slow your roll there, lady. Letting OP know that there is a search bar that she may find helpful does not make anyone "catty" or "hormonal". I know when I started on TB (I'm only mobile because I work 16 hrs a day), I didn't realize that there was a search bar at the bottom of the screen until a HELPFUL person made a comment on someone else's post. It benefits the poster AND the community so I'm not sure why you have a problem with people letting others know that the function exists.
Feel free to continue being wildly over-sensitive but just know that you're the one who is ridiculous here, not PPs.

Yeah... not so much. I'm fat. At the risk of starting a debate or being accused of bragging (LOL kidding!!), I'll even share my weight... I weigh 220lbs right now. I felt this baby for the first time at 14w4d, and now at 16w4d I feel him several times a day. With my first baby I was around 165lbs and I felt him at 16.5w and felt him more consistently around 18.5w.
It has nothing to do with your size or excess weight. It also has nothing to do with "being very in tune with your body" (that is complete bullshit and annoys the piss out of me because it implies that women who don't feel their baby until 20+ weeks just aren't trying hard enough - again, bullshit). When you feel your baby has to do with the size of the fetus, the relative activity of the fetus (some babies are more active than others), the placement of the placenta, the amount of fluid around the fetus, and wether it is a first pregnancy or not. Women tend to feel subsequent babies earlier.

@maplebaby you are the bomb dot com! I have to admit, I'm horrible and haven't bought a book. But I also try and utilize Google or ask my mom before posting. I have to admit the duplicate threads are a bit of an annoyance but I also have 0 patience.
LOL! Thanks guys! I was fucking CRANKY when I wrote that, so I'm glad it came out coherent.
I'm at work and one of my coworkers (an older woman who makes quilts, she made a BEAUTIFUL one for me as a wedding gift) stopped by. I told her the good news from our 16w U/S: We have a healthy baby boy in there!
Her reply: Oh, that really sucks it's not a girl...... I'm sorry to hear that.
O_o WTF???? Ummmm, I never indicated I had a preference. I'm so fucking excited about this baby boy!!! What's wrong with just saying Congrats!?? It made me stabby!
