Hi ladies,
I've posted before that my mum was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Apparently she has two treatment options. 1. They treat it gently, with radiation once a week. This won't kill the cancer but it should slow it. It has a zero percent cancer-free success rate. 2. They treat it aggressively, with chemo and radiation to kill the cancer. This has a twenty percent cancer-free success rate. I don't like the odds, but she wants to fight it aggressively, as do I. the only thing is that she may not be a candidate for chemo.
She doesn't have an appointment with the chemo oncologist yet; he/she will be the one to determine whether she can have chemo and fight it, or whether she just has the gentle treatment, which doesn't sound like a long-term solution to me.
Anyways, I'm asking for you to send T & P for my mum, please, that she can have chemo. She's my best friend and an amazing grandmother. it breaks my heart to think of losing her, and of DS not having any memories of her. TIA.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
