Hello all. I'm 30, DH is 32, married 4 years. We hemmed and hawed for years over if we even wanted children, but after I finished my masters, something just clicked. We decided we definitely wanted to have children. My best friend has been ttc for a year and a half and just started fertility treatments (Clomid/iui). We are thinking when they get their bfp, we will start ttc (we are in no rush). Been off bc for 1.5 years, using the fertility awareness/NFP method. Getting very excited to try to start having a baby! Good luck to all! I've been lurking here for a while now...

    Don't feel the need to. It would be a really neat thing to be pregnant with my best friend. If it doesn't work out that way, no big deal. Im grounded in reality, promise.

    That is awesome. None of our friends with little ones live close enough to see them very often and my niece and nephew just moved away. Ready for some babies in my life :) I do have a good friend that is due in 2 weeks, so I'm very excited about that.

    I ended up being pregnant at the same time as two of my good girlfriends (one of which was undergoing IVF).  I was really worried about potentially getting pregnant before the one working through the IVF because she tried for quite a while, then found out they couldn’t do it on their own. 

     

    NOW...We plan to start trying in April 2015.  I know she would really like to have another, but they're not in a place right now where that's possible.  I feel really REALLY bad, but we're ready for #2, and would like them to be somewhat close in age (my son is 16 months).  I feel like I should tell her we're TTC for this reason, but a part of me really wanted this baby to be a surprise for family and friends.

     

    But anywho...that was a lot of information, sorry.  In short, despite that, I'm INSANELY excited to start trying in the spring lol.

    That's when DH wants to start trying also. SO excited! Maybe feel out your friend and see if she would need the heads up? You could surprise everyone else. I hope my friend gets pregnant on this cycle and doesn't have to go through more rigorous treatments. Well, looks like we are twins....maybe we will both get pregnant in April! I believe I have the same first name as you, as well ;)

    Hah! Hmm this is pretty crazy. I also just finished my masters lol. We were really lucky and got it on the first shot last time. I hope it's that easy again. Fingers crossed for both of us!
