Hello!
So a little about me... I'm 26 and my DH is 28. I studied engineering in college, but now I decorate cakes, and he owns a business coaching baseball. We live outside of Pittsburgh, but I grew up in Seattle and miss it terribly!
We were married in September and decided to start trying right away, since I have a 5 year old daughter from a pervious marriage. I was diagnosed with PCOS so I thought it would take a while. We were super happy to get a positive a week before christmas! I started spotting on NYE, and a week later we went in to have an ultrasound. The baby looked great, had a strong heartbeat, and was measuring fine. Later that night while DH was at work I started having horrible cramping, and passed a large blood clot. I basically stopped bleeding after that, and so I assumed (stupidly) that everything was ok. The next morning I called the OB just to make sure, and he said to come in. They did another ultrasound and found nothing. No remnants of the pregnancy whatsoever. We are just devastated. Taking things one day at a time.
I'm so thankful to have a place to talk to other women who understand!
