Hey ladies! I thought I'd drop a little intro here. I used to be active mostly on TN on the Getting Pregnant board, then GP Moms. We moved to Facebook, and I'm still active with them, but wanted to look for a new group on these boards. I'm 33 (I'll be 34 in a couple weeks), and have a soon to be 2 year old (next Thursday!) son. I work full time as an RN in an outpatient oncology clinic and I'm in school for my Master's (4 months until graduation!!!). We have 2 cats and a dog. If you want to know anything, just ask. I look forward to getting to know you ladies.

Welcome! Cool job although I imagine all work in oncology is mentally tough. I got two cats too, been dragging my feet on the dog that family is asking for, for years now.
@beaubecca pb and fluff sandwiches are my guilty pleasure. When my sister's family and my family go to the beach for a week in the summer, we have to buy a tub of it. I only allow myself to have it that week. I have zero self control.

It can be, but I separate myself from it pretty well. I know that some nurses I work with are really affected by some patients. Maybe it makes me a bad person? I don't get attached. My work stays at work.
