I can't help myself: New Year's Resolutions?!?

It's almost the end of 2014 and I wonder, what are YOUR New Year's resolutions?

I want to read more books, travel without my children this year and learn to crochet.

  • I want to pay off my car, if we use our tax return should be able to do it two years early.
    I want to pick up a hobby, maybe needlepoint.
    I think that is it.
  • I know it's a cliche, but I want to finally lose the weight and be healthier. In 2009/2010 I lost 50 pounds, but after my wedding that year I started gaining it back, and haven't made any serious progress since.

     My Pregnancy/Parenting BLOG TTC since 5/2011, BFP #1 12/3/11, M/C 12/7/11 @ 4wks 2d. Began seeing RE Sep 2012. October 2012 Metformin 1500 mg= ovulation on CD34 BFP#2 11/14/12 9DPO, EDD 7/26/13, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks, our angel born sleeping 3/24/13 @ 22wks 2d. BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks.  Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!

  • Save up money for a down payment on a house in 2016.

    Drink more water.

    Learn to sew. Make some amazing things.

    Convince one of DH's siblings to procreate so my children have cousins.

  • -Lose the baby weight once LO arrives

    -Continue to become more eco-friendly

    -Be more on top of landscaping and our outdoor space
  • Lose 20 pounds, do more home cooked meals, drink more water and clean the house more frequently than I do now.

    2. Jog, at least, 5x/week
    3. Eat as healthy as possible (organic); treat myself now and again
    4. Continue with monthly exercise challenges
    5. Get into a 2-piece (fatkini) for the summer
    6. Continue to try new recipes every couple of weeks
    7. Meet my BFing goals 6mo (January 23), 9mo (April 23), and 12mo (July 23)
    8. Read a book or 2 a month
    9. Come up with an easy to manage/follow cleaning schedule
    10. Love my kids and husband more

  • Make a budget and make DH actually stick to it
    Lose the baby weight/ get back into shape
    Cook more/ meal prep
  • Clean less. I know it sounds weird, but right now I let cleaning the house take priority over quality time with my kids, and I'd rather it be the other way around. Also, I want to implement and stick to a predictable daily rhythm/ schedule.

  • Thanks. I sat down a couple nights before NYE and I made my list. I kinda think my list is long but It's stuff I want to improve on and do better at.

    @hayleydeee I completely understand this. I stopped being consumed by a clean house a while ago and it's so freeing! :) Good luck sticking to it.
