Day off=Bad things

Not really planning on going anywhere because of weather, hence the day off. I feel like an eating machine. Need some ideas of what to do!!!! Help

    it rained yesterday for my day off (and again today, boo!) but i did some cleaning (very little, hehe) and went out and spent some of the gift cards i got for christmas.  try not to let it ruin your day off!

    are you crafty? you could scrapbook or something like that. I always have stuff to organize. Of course cleaning.  Watch a chick flick. Check on the bills. Online shop.

    Absolutely...try a new recipe.  Cook or bake something new or insanely different or complicated that you never had the time to do before.  It will be a fun treat for you and DH to enjoy later and a great way to send the day!

    all good ideas, all good ideas.....have to check around and see what ingredients I have to make something "vaguely elaborate" as Melaina put it. Def making cornbread (prob with be nothing like your southerners make, but of well) since I've been craving this!

    Cleaning/organizing always kills time for me, and it's better than sitting on the couch...although I usually squeeze some of that in too!

    Yay someone got my Mary Poppins reference :)  We have been playing trivial pursuit and cards a lot lately so whenever DH asks what I want to play I reply "all sorts."

    You know what I mean :)  Something that takes more time than you usually have to bake, but also isn't crazy difficult.
