DD is not eating all that great the past week or so. She is 13 weeks old. She's been refusing feeds or only eating for a very short amount of time. Keeps unlatching. Also, a long time between feeds. I feed on demand but offer at 3 hours and again at 4. She'll usually nurse at the 4 hour mark. Used to eat after about 2.5 hours. But it still seems like she just lays there not actively sucking even after 4hours. We're only getting in 6/7 feeds a day and I'd say half of them are "good".
I'm worried about baby and especially my supply. There's been lots of days in a row where I'm uncomfortable from her lack of eating. Any ideas on why she wouldn't be taking in all that much anymore? I'm getting super frustrated and upset. Is this weaning?
Re: Baby loss of appetite
She is absolutely not weaning. She is only 13 weeks old - that is not the issue at all. I would rule out illness first.
Is she getting bottles at all?
Thanks! I'll give the LC a call.
