Trying to Get Pregnant

I love Gap

During xmas my DH did some major clothes shopping for me. Gap appranently has this amazing Tall section on their website. Since we usually shop in the store, I had no idea they had tall shirts!I have such a tough time with finding shirts that are long in the torso and long sleeves....forget-about-it.

Now some of my favs are on sale big time!

Do any of you have a newly discovered store that you would recommend?

Re: I love Gap

  • I love the Gap!! There clothes fit so nice and you can get a small and it's big.

  • i love ann taylor loft! they have an awesome petite section for shorties like me, but they have a tall selection on their website!?
  • I love both those 2 stores but being 5'3, I especially like the shorty (hence my name shorT, get it?) section at ATL
  • ITA!  Gap, Banana Republic, AT, and ATL all have great sections for petites too....I'm only 5'0"!!

  • I almost exclusively shop at Gap and banana republic because of their Tall sections. Who can beat a tall shirt??? You never have to worry about skin showing ever again!!
  • I puffy heart love H&M.

I totally forgot about H&M! I haven't been there in forever. Here in the states they're small, but I went to one in London that was enormous!

  • I'm on the Gap and ATL bandwagon, too, but not because of height. ?I love them because their pants actually fit my goofy hourglass shape (smaller waist, not-so-small hips). ?Although that shape is slowing fading...

  • we live near an outlet mall with gap and banana republic. dh and i have decided we will only shop there from now on. i love gap for their pants (i'm 5'2") and br for their tops. i love h&m too but they haven't opened any near us yet :(

  • I got to H&M probably 3 times a week.  The one in the mall next to my work (my office is on the main shopping street) is 2 stories and there is a separate H&M for the trendy stuff at the other end of the mall.

If you are talking about the H&M in OXford Street its 3 floors and HUGE! I always hit  up that place when I was in London for business, that and the MASSIVE TopShop

  • I stop mainly at Gap, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor Loft.  I am petite 5 foot 2 and they have a great selection of pants that fit me.  I have recently found American Eagle to fit well also-espcially the jeans.  I need the short because the regular was too long and they ordered for me at the store and was delivered to my house free of charge.

  • Gap and ATL have to be two of my favorite stores...although I just went to an Ann Taylor Outlet and cleaned up! Also, another shortie here!

  • I'm not quite a tall but have a really long torso requiring tall shirts.

Besides all the above mentioned Old Navy has tall (especially online). The quality usually is average at best but you can't beat a Tall tank for $1 (you better believe I stocked up on those).

  • I love GAP and ATL too!! I'm 5" lol!!!
  • I only shop at the Limited.  I'm average height, so no problems with tall/short sizes.  They do have tall and short jeans available there though!!

Our mall sucks hard, and we don't have a Gap or BR or Ann Taylor, so the Limited is it :(  I like the Express jeans too, but my chest is too large for their shirts.

  • Monkey- How tall are you? I will have to start shopping online at Gap..I got so frustrated the other day in there with the jeans.. Everything they had left in "tall" was like a size 2!! I mean come on..I am NO size 2!

I love when I can find tall stuff that actually fits. I shop at Banana Republic, Ann Taylor loft and Gap/Oldnavy etc. Yay for "tall" shirts! I will definitely look into that!

I'm 5'8"ish. I think. Maybe closer to 5'9" I couldn't tell you the last time I had my height checked.

  • I am 6'0 and I have a really hard time finding stuff that fits. I usually wear an 8 or a 10...depending on what style.:(
