So, FYI - "3 months" and "0-3 months" are the same size, and "6 months" and "3-6 months" are the same size. Carters sizes things by the later end of the size range for some reason (aka to confuse parents).
Yes this and the Gerber 3-6 months onesies are the same size as carters 3 months. ~X(
DD is in 3 month which I expect to last only a few more weeks. She is fitting pretty well but I can tell she is getting to long for some of her sleepers and onsies
DD is a petite little peanut and still fits into the 0-3 clothes. 6 month sizes look huge for her and even some 3 month stuff is still too big. She will be 3 months on Friday. She was 10lb 7oz at her 2 month appointment and I think she is just over 12lb now.
@theresat858, I think it depends on the brand. While Carters seems to run large other brands run small. I find this especially true of onesies. Many of the ones labeled 0-3 are noticeably smaller than the 3s.
DDS is starting to fill out her 3-6 month clothes. I am hoping she slows down a bit on the growth and can last in this size til the end of February (4 months) so I can hit the big consignment sale in early March to get more 6-9 month clothes!!
DS is in 6-9 months now because of his weight (15lbs 8oz on 12/1). That stuff can be a little long on him but the 3-6 stuff is way too small. He also fits into 12 months size in Gerber onesies.

Sol wears 6-9mo. It's strange to have such a big baby because my almost 3yo can still wear a lot of 18mo shirts. Theo wore 12mo shorts this past summer.

Gerber can suck it. We outgrew a Gerber 12-month onesie already. It was literally the same size as her newborn clothes.
Kenzie wore her first 3-6 month sleeper this week. I'm in the process of washing the rest, because some of the 0-3 onesies are getting snug. But she DROWNS in the 3-6 month pants... so that's going to be an issue.

The twins are still in NB clothes & diapers at 3 months old!
I just put away the newborn stuff an my kid is 3 1/2 months (I guess, I have lost count of the weeks MOTY)
He is in 3 month sizes but could wears some nb stuff if I had not put it away. I switched to 3 month stuff because we had more of it and more warm items. They are still too long on my little nugget.

They're such adorable little nuggets! I can't imagine two babies. For realz. I know you do what you gotta do in the situation but one is SO HARD! Do they hold hands and snuggle each other?
0-3 month stuff. I think we'll be in the pants for awhile because I can still roll them up, but the onesies fit perfect. I donated all my Gerber stuff from the last two kids because figuring out what size it actually was drove me crazy!

DD still fits some newborn stuff. Pants and skirts, she has a skinny butt and short legs. Christmas was a little awkward as she got a lot of winter clothes in 6 months that she probably won't fit into in time. Everyone assumed she would grow fast as she was born weighing 8.3 but she's been a slow gainer.
She's in some 6 month shit that HAVE to be total lies.
The best thing I did when a friend gave me hand-me-downs and after my shower was to organize clothes by physical size. Like, I took a onesie, and compared others to it, and put the smallest ones on top. I don't care what size it is. I just know that the Gerber 12-month onesie was the same size as the newborn ones under it, so it got worn a few times. I did the same thing with pants, sweaters, sleepers. The only stuff I didn't do it with is hanging clothes, and that might mean some adorable outfits don't get worn.
I'm anal retentive about making sure she wears everything at least once. It's a sickness.

Aw, thanks! They do hold hands sometimes when they are nursing & one will reach a hand out & place it on the others head or face to touch & hold, it's super adorable! They are always checking each other out & babbling to one another. They don't mind being close or laying on each either. Yeah two is tough I'm not gonna lie but it's twice the smiles, giggles, snuggles & coos too

Awe! I've always been fascinated with the twins and how they connect. They're so so so cute but I don't want any. Lol
DS has been in 3-6 month clothes for almost a month now (was 3 months on the 3rd). He's actually starting to out grow some of our 6 month clothes Most of our clothes are Carters or Osh'kosh and fit really similarly. I threw out/donated all the Gerber crap. I know my other boys grew fast, but not this fast! I want to keep my snuggly little guy a bit longer! It's making me think about getting pregnant again because he's growing so fast! So not ready for that, at least another year before we think about that.
0-3/3. Depending on the brand it fits him well, is baggy or is wayyy too short. He went for his 2 month apt today and he is 11lbs 2oz and 24.5 inches long. So he's 94th percentile in height but only 15th in weight. So basically all his clothes are baggy but not long enough. I am really disappointed because all of his Ralph Lauren one piece suits look like the are long sleeved but with shorts instead of pants.Hopefully this means he got his height from daddy (6'4") cause mommy is only 5'2"

Ralph Lauren runs small. He's currently wearing 0-3 in most clothes but he's out growing his 3 months in Ralph Lauren.
Ds is 11 weeks today and is in 0-3 clothing. But he is short so if it's footed pants they are to long. A lot of his sleepers are to long also for him so his feet are hardly where they are suppose to be :-/

Yea I noticed that. His coming home outfit was newborn and he only wore it twice while all his other newborn clothes lasted much longer.
We have a couple of button up shirt and pants outfits that are 3 month that still fit him. But the one piece outfits are out.
Dd is 10 weeks at her 2 month appt she was 10 lb 12oz (24%) height 23" (71%) so we have the same problem as a lot of you. 0-3 tops but 6 month pants for the length.
Carter's has cute stuff, but their sizing is all over the place. I bought two 6 month outfits at Costco the other day and they are WAY bigger than the 6 month outfits from the store. LO is a chunky monkey and it mostly in 6-month stuff but she has short little legs and a long torso. Anything with pants she can still do 3 months. One-piece stuff is 6 months.
I have a little peanut. We just moved into carters 3mo and gap 0-3 this past week and she'll be 3months old tomorrow. I'm guessing weighs around the 11pd mark but she's short (like her mama). Even some of the carters 3mo clothes are too big still. All shirts no matter what have to be rolled at the sleeves. She has little t-Rex arms.
My LO is wearing 3 months right now. However, it's just because we cloth diaper and she needs that little bit of extra room. If she were in a disposable she would be in 0-3.
Our LO was born 5 w early (9/4) so he is 4 months this past Sunday. At his 4 mo well visit, he weighed 16.6 lbs (75%) and was 27" (95%) so here we are in 9 month clothes lol!

Most of her problems come from her height. They tend to be baggy on her, but super short on the arms and legs.
