Fitness Challenge Day 6

I hope everyone is doing great and sticking with their challenges. I didn't get as sore today from yesterday's workout. That just means today won't be so hard.

The weather is really nice today so I'm going to try to get in a mile walk with today's challenge.

  • I did 14 flights of stairs yesterday, and actually felt it today... that is SO sad!  Today I have done 50 flights of stairs, plus 100 calf raises.  I'll do my crunches when I get home.  45 today.

    But I did a ton of brisk walking today, in the freezing and snow. That was fun

  • Day 6 of lbd finally done. I totally cheated on the burpees but I'm so exhausted that I'm just giving myself credit for doing any exercise at all. The weather is supposed to be brutally cold here tomorrow, wind chills in the -30s. All of the schools are closing. Oh how I wish I could just call in instead of having to take Q out in it! I'm jealous of anyone getting to do outside exercise. Normally I love this time of year, but with a little one I'm getting more and more excited for spring.

    TJ - way to go on the stairs. I feel like they are one of the most brutal exercises. When I drop this last pumping session at the end of the month, I hope to start doing stairs during my lunch break.

  • I didn't do my day 6. :( The challenge I switched to doesn't have rest days. Is that normal?

  • I'm not sure about the rest days but I would probably put in rest days. Especially after the workouts get harder.

    1) Don't have rest days
    2) Just skip the workouts on the days you choose as rest days (one/week)
    3) Extend your work out to 34 days, and make up your 4 rest days at the end

    Isn't getting to eat chocolate part of why you're doing lbd?  No? Just me? Ok. 

    I sort of did my day 6.  I remembered I needed to do it at 10pm. I didn't want to go out in the livingroom where DH was snoring on the couch to check my phone/computer for what the exercises were.  I did it from memory & guessed the wrong exercises.  (I did lunges, squats & bridge.)
