So, while home I've gotten into the habit of watwatching dr phil and ellen I just bought dr phil's 20/20 diet book and it should be here friday. I'm optimistic and hopeful, the books gotten great reviews! Anyone want to join me?
I'm not doing that diet, but I am on day 2 of Weight Watchers. I'd be happy to participate in a weekly (or daily?) diet check in! It would definitely help me out!
That's a great idea! We could make it open to any program, a weekly weigh in maybe? I know it would help keep me accountable. I know a few ladies were planning on doing weight watchers!
@missnacholover...if you don't mind me asking, how much is the WW program? Do you do the premade meals or points?
No problem! I'm doing online and it's $60 for 3 months. Free registration right now (usually $30, I think!) until March!
Here's the info I got from the website...I had to put in my zip code so it may be different depending on location:
-Online tracking $19.95/month (to get the free registration, I paid for 3 months upfront - figure this will make me give it my all for at least 3 months! hopefully by then it's my new normal!)
-Meetings and Online tracking - $44.95/month
-Personal Coaching plus Online - $54.95/month
-Meetings, personal coaching, and Online tracking - $69.95/month
I do points but eat some premade frozen meals (and count the points for them) for work lunches. )
In the newest program, fruits and veggies are 0 points too. So that is (at least for the past 2 days) motivating me to pick fruits and veggies for snacks instead of my beloved cheez-its.
I'd also be interested in a check in Operation "get in shape after twins" definitely needs a jump start. Maybe every so often we could incorporate sharing easy, healthy recipe ideas?

Thank you!! What if you put the fruit/vegetable on the cheez-it's. Does that count?

Oh, don't I wish. Cheez-its should count as a dairy, right?
I'm a lifetime weight watchers member and got back into it about 2 weeks ago. I lost 180 lbs pre baby and my hubby lost 80 pre baby. We both have struggled our whole lives with weight. It works!! We've never been healthier and happier! (Especially now that we have LO).
I haven't heard of the Dr Phil program but I have several friends that have lost on other programs. So I know there's a great variety of ways to do it! Love the idea ladies - count me in!

Ok! When should we check in? Mondays? I suppose we can do something like what plan (if any) you are following, goals for the week, how you're doing, tips and tricks, random, and a GTKY?

Count me in! I'm on week 2 of weight watchers and lost 1.5 pounds my first week. I like that it gives you more points to spend if you are breastfeeding.
Re: 20/20 diet - Dr phil
Good luck!
ETA: I don't think we should post what we weigh, but how we did that week!
