best wrap/sling for a plus size gal

So my Seven Sling was rather disappointing, which is not a huge surprise, I suppose. I've decided I am going to invest in something better. So here's my deal. I'm 5'3", 260lb. Pips is a Champ at holding her head up, so something that allows her to look around is a must. But she doesn't always sleep well sitting up (at least when I hold her) so something that could be adjusted for laying down would be ideal. Sling style or wrap, I've no preference. What should I be looking for/what do you all recommend?

    Wraps have a lot of fabric, so they're easiy adjustable for someone of any size. I sound like I have shares in the company, but I love my Boba wrap. Some stores have different wraps/slings/carriers out to try on or perhaps you could see if there is a baby wearing group in your area in order to try before you buy.

    When looking into wraps, go for the long ones. Like 7's. If you have a local baby wearing community, those are great to join because you can try out wraps before you buy one. Most ring slings are converted from a wrap so you can either buy those locally from mom's who have done it already or buy the wrap and then find someone who will convert it. I have a Lenny Lamb and Kokadi wraps. There are many, many brands to pick from. Also, soft structure structured carriers like Ergo, Beco or Tula have extenders.

    I know you said you need something she can look around in but do NOT ever forward face. Its very bad for their hips and they get over stimulated very easy.

    With woven wraps, there are many carries you can so. There are a ton of tutorials on YouTube. Your best resource will be finding a local baby wearing group. I found mine on Facebook. Good luck!

    You can start wrapping babies on your back, which let's them look around more, when they have better head control. Usually around 6 months.

    They can't forward face, even when they are bigger?  :(  I did not know this!

    I like my Mei Tai. It was easy to figure out and way cheaper than most.
