Who decided winter was a good time to have a baby?

Me apparently...well, us! Brooke is sick, she has a wicked cold and is just miserable. And today was my first day back at work so I had to let my baby go to her first day of daycare sick (just a cold, she is within the limits for being there sick...no fever, etc.). All I want to do is snuggle her and I'm sitting here bored at work.

I think I'm going to do some saline drops in her nose when she gets home, she hasn't been nursing great and actually spit up some post nasal drip (gross, seriously, gross). My poor baby.

The pro is that lots of us Oct '14 moms had the holidays off. But. The con is that it really sucks going back to work now and having a wee baby during cold and flu season.

Hope she feels better soon. My LO has had a constant snotty nose since starting daycare. It is heartbreaking to say the least.

I didnt want to be insanely pregnant and driving to and from work in this awful weather we're having, so I actually planned an October baby. But the cold and flu season sucks!

Awe, that's no fun at all. Hope LO feels better soon!

I hate the winter. I really want to be able to take dd out and go for a walk once and awhile, I hate being cooped up inside!

I thought this the other day! My toddler and lo both have a cold. It sucks when they are so little that you can't even give them medicine to make them feel better until it passes. We didn't plan an October baby. We were trying for so long that it just happened that way.

I have a May baby and it was a million times better than an October baby. But then, I prefer warmer weather to begin with anyways. I hate all this bundling up and I'm paranoid of her getting sick.

Ugh gosh I hope she's better soon!

I planned for an October baby because I love the month. I absolutely HATE being cooped up though now that the weather is getting into freezing temps. We had such a good thing going with afternoon walks! And how am I supposed to lose baby weight with all the delicious warm weather comfort food?
Next baby will be a May arrival for sure.

My first is a February baby so it worked out that I got to stay cooped up the first month or so and when I started going stir crazy the weather got better. But now, I want to go outside again!!!

May 2016 works for me. Hopefully I will be due in April, but I'll be in may bmb to be with you wonderful notches.

@MrMrsandBaby‌ my 2nd was a February baby and it was much better. My first was may and I had to worry about extreme heat when she was so little. How old is your dd (?) Going to be this year?
