  My co-worker just had a Fiona MaryAnn L. and was at first worried about FML being the initials, but that is more of a cultural reference / fad that will die. 

  
  

  As much as I like Caroline, FCK will probably live on and I probably wouldn't do it. But really the problem isn't just the C, it's more of the F_K with most vowels (FOK, FAK, FUK could all do the same). I'd avoid C's and Vowel names.

  @Steph1673  I should have mentioned in my original post that we're trying to avoid vowels for the same reason.  Other family names include June, Marie and Violet, which I like but they've all been used by my siblings and cousins already, so just trying to think of other options.  Another idea is to choose a Belgian middle name to honour my dad who has passed, as his name (Robert Gustaaf) doesn't translate well into girl names, but I haven't had time to research those yet.

  Of course you thought of that, it is your last name :-) FWIW, I LOVE Fiona June. It also made me think of Fiona Jane. I like the J, it gives a JFK feel, just mixed up ;-)

  Fiona Lynn (or Linn) would be an homage to Caroline but initials will be FLK and I think it flows nicely
