Any Bachelor Fans?!? (Spoilers inside)

I will admit...I'm a sucker for the Bachelor! Anyone else watch the premier last night? Thoughts? Front runners? Ladies you'll love to hate?

I enjoyed the premier, but thought it was too long! I would rather just watch the episode without the extra hour of "red carpet" stuff.

I like Chris as the Bachelor, hated Juan Pablo so I like this season more already. I actually really dig that he's a farmer, although moving to the middle of nowhere would be tough.

I was surprised he kept the drunk girls, it will be interesting to see how they act going forward! I also liked how they kept some of the girls away for awhile, it was an interesting twist, funny how catty some of the girls got about being there first.

The Bachelor is my guilty pleasure. I agree it was too long last night. It's fun to hear updates from past contestants, but I'd rather just read their drama online on my own time.

I really liked Whitney. Except her voice... It was like nails on a chalkboard to me for some reason.

I was surprised he kept the drunk girls too... My only guess is it was a calculated move by the producers to keep the show interesting. That onion chic was whack.

I love it. Between the girl who made the plow comment, the drunk girl who got the rose, and the blooming onion crazy, my life is complete. I love Chris. I think he is real and down to earth and really wants to find a wife. Hated juan pablo. From the preview, I thought it looked like Chris might have slept with one of the girls later in the season? Did you get that vibe at all?

I made my husband watch it, claiming it was because I was pregnant

and he had to literally walk out of the room or made me fast forward it when she was interviewed! Awful!

I'm totally biting. Bachelor is also my guilty pleasure and I'm team Brit (the girl he kissed and gave the safety rose to) so far. I thought she was genuine and gorgeous. I'm sure I'm going to be torn between her and the widow (for whom I feel so bad).

I'm also shocked that he chose the drunk girl, especially over Michelle. We didn't see them talking so perhaps there wasn't a connection but she was so beautiful and I'm not sure what connection he could have felt with the drunk girl to choose her over Michelle.

I agree--the premiere was way too long. I enjoyed seeing the past contestants and couples but I follow my favorite ones on Instagram so I know what they're up to anyway. (I know. Please don't judge me.)

Also, the girl with the crazy eyes weirded me out a bit. And what's with the onion/pomegranate girl. Oy.

Ahh I love the Bachelor! Every season I promise myself that I won't get sucked into it, but I always end up watching it. I wasn't overly impressed with the girls, but I liked Whittney (except the voice) and Jillian. Some of the intros made me cringe and I couldn't even watch them they were so bad! Looks like it should at the very least be an interestingness season.

Also, during the red carpet part, did anyone else notice that most of the alums kept standing there just to be on camera? And it was the ones that no one really remembers or cared about, I found it amusing.

I love the bachelor! Love brit she's gourgous! I actually like the "plow your field girl" I love when there is a crazy one in the bunch. Even though her mouth reminds me of miley Cyrus. Lucklie my husband likes to watch it and judge all of the girls with me.

Brand new Bachelor fan here. I'm on bed rest so a friend of mine encouraged me to watch it so we could shamelessly gossip about the women.

I'm a Kelsey fan (she's the brunette widow). I think she's one that people will underestimate, but based on the preview of the upcoming season she seems to make it pretty far.

As for the onion girl, isn't it typical that there always has to be at least one crazy in the group, at least to promote tv ratings? She's interesting to watch, but OMG!!

One more thing: my unsuspecting husband was suckered into watching it. When it ended he claimed he was upset that he has to wait until next week to see what happens. He then followed up with, "I'm upset with myself that I'm actually upset about this." The bachelor: not only a woman's guilty pleasure! Until next week ladies....

I loved the plow field comment but it was awkward later wheb she interuppted to make a joke, and then he shut her down! Eeekkkk! I think she is hilarious and has guts, but it's true that she didnt look classy. The big bug eye girl was pretty to me, but her eyes were kinda crazy. He gave crazy onion girl a rose!!!!! I love Britt! I am glad she is a front runner. (For now at least!)

I liked Britt and Kelsey as well. They were both gorgeous and seemed pretty classy.

The onion girl is freaking crazy. I think she was on drugs. The bug eye girl also looks crazy.

I can't believe he kept the drunks. When you call yourself a train wreck and then chug more Whiskey you for sure have a problem.

What is going to happen with the girl that pulls him aside at the end?? Will he keep her!!

Poor Chris. He seems so nice and sweet. I fear that the crazy girls are going to tear him apart and distract him from the good ones. From the previews it looks like someone tempts him into a bad situation that may make some of the good ones think twice

I agree it had to be a ratings grab. Especially since he kept crazy eyes.

My hubby wouldn't admit it to any of his guy friends but he gets just as into it as I do! He actually reminded me that it started yesterday! Makes me laugh!

I haven't watched the bachelor in years but I did watch last night because this season looks good!
I was busy with kids and laundry so I wasn't watching super close but I liked the drunk girl:) wasn't she the one that came out in shorts and boots?
And I was bummed the plus size model didn't get a rose- she was beautiful and not a stick like all the others!

I agree that 3 hours was WAYYYY too long. I usually almost stop watching the show for being 2 hours. Did anyone see Chris Harrison's interview with Nikki? He could not stop bashing Juan Pabs! I mean, I don't like JP, and he pretty much deserved it, but it was interesting how unkind Chris's words were about him.

I can't bold from my phone, but I totally agree with your last sentence! I did not like JP either, but that interview was so cringe-worthy. It was so uncomfortable, he just needed to stop.

I agree too! I felt bad for Nikki! Chris basically said "the whole world thought this guy was a d-bag...except you". Interesting she was at the premier but he wasn't!

Don't watch the bachlor, never have, but when I heard this guys was a farmer it caught my interest. Growing up as a farmers daughter I watched how hard it was/is on him, my mom and us kids. It's not a glamorous lifestyle in any way shape or form. Waking up at 3:30 am every morning, not sleeping for days, the farm debt and never being able to take more than 3 days off a year. Those ladies don't know what a culture shock they're in for. Unless he runs a factory farm with lots of help or has a hobby farm and is loaded with money from a dead relative, those women are screwed.

After reading this post I had to go watch since I had it recorded on my dvr. Holy crap. Onion girl. Wtf? I'm hooked on this season for sure. I usually watch a season religiously, skip a few, watch another. I didn't watch the last two seasons so now I have to watch this one.

I liked Tara the drunk. I think she just had a little too much on the first night because it's more of a party. I am glad the girl that lived with her mom, didn't like to clean or pay bills got let go. I think she was the one they said had the big eyes. I will enjoy this season.

Totally agree with the above comments. Im glad he kept the drunk girl, maybe she will learn her lesson, and if not, send her packing! I really like Britt and Jade, Kelsey is okay too. I'm so happy a new season is on! I've been watching since Ben and Courtney's season (which was terrible) but I still loved it! Can't believe Courtney showed up to the live show. I can't stand her.

I haven't watched yet, because I haven't had 3 hours to sit down and knock it out, but tomorrow is a snow/cold day (woo hoo), so that's what's on my agenda. I only started watching The Bachelor since Sean's season and have particular interest in this season because I live in Iowa. My DH was downtown Des Moines on the night that Chris had one of his finalist dates, but didn't get to see him. Our local newspaper has been publishing a few articles about it recently.

We finished it last night. Thank goodness for DVR - we fast forwarded through all the red carpet nonsense.

I think that the 'this season on The Bachelor' preview was the most amusing, melodramatic video montage I've ever seen. Soooooo much crying!

Hey guys, sorry to revive a somewhat zombie post but did you see the news/rumors that Andi and Josh broke up? Apparently they had their "people"
announce it. It isn't clear to me if they have completely broken up or if they're scaling back and just not planning the wedding as they were. Either way, I thought you guys might like to hear if you haven't already!

although he just makes fun of it he enjoyed it too I think....

I'm all for Brit the first girl out of the limo from the beginning glad he gave her the rose. But I'm sketchy about her because I think I saw she's from Hollywood, could be an actress wanting to get on tv????

I think he liked that drunk girl was dressed like a cowgirl...
