Thanks for thinking of us! His sleep actually has been better. We ended up canceling the RNP order because the same night that I ordered it, he went to sleep perfectly fine in his crib. The trick seems to be holding him till he's asleep, then making sure he's still asleep when we lay him down (because his eyes often pop open when I stand up), and then lightly holding his arms when we lay him down until he settles so that he doesn't wake himself up by moving. Sometimes he still wakes up after we leave the room and cries for a few minutes, but not like he had been doing before. And DH is the one who figured this out, so the credit is all his! It's still not foolproof, but overall things are much better.
