Period Returned While Nursing @12months- Question

Hi Ladies, 

My LO is currently 13.5 months old and my period returned right about when she turned one when I started to introduce WCM and went down to just 2 nursing sessions a day.  My question for those who have been through this is - Did your period return to a normal schedule right away?  Or did you have very long periods at first? 

 I am currently on CD37 with no period in sight and a few negative pregnancy tests and I am wondering if I should expect my cycles to be wonky for a few months.  Add to this the fact that I have PCOS so I guess I should assume my cycle will be wonky anyway, but I guess I am just looking for other's experiences.

TTC #1** Went off BCP July 2011

Jan 2012 Dx PCOS by OB/Gyn


July 2012 - Tests with RE confirmed PCOS and annovulation

2 rounds of clomid, 5 IUI's using clomid + injectibles. 

Surprise BFP while on break cycle due to cysts.  It's a girl! Baby "E" born on Thanksgiving Day 11/28/13

    sounds normal. your first few cycles in particular might be really weird.

    i got my period back at 12 months. until i conceived again when DS was 26 months, my cycles were somewhat regular, but long-- generally around 32-25 days. i did have a couple of short cycles that were 28-29 days and i think one that got up to 41 days.
