This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently pregnant.

If there are any newcomers that would like to be added to the list, post below and include you EDD and how many beans you have cooking.

Checkin is every Tuesday, feel free to post updates all week.

Q: How often to you get alone time with DH/SO? What is your favorite thing to do together?

Blueberries8-11/25-19+1 today...thankfully everything has been pretty uneventful lately. My PPROM milestone with Naava and Aminadav is this week. I will be so happy to hopefully get past it...I am pretty anxious, knowing the next 9ish weeks are super critical but psychologically, I think I will be able to better distinguish between the two twin pregnancies once I am past the gestation at which I lost N&A. I've had 2 good cervical length measurements since the borderline one. I am just exhausted by the end of the day (morning is my most functional time) and I am already getting sooo big. Feeling very, very thankful things are pretty boring right now.

Byrne15-10/14-I'm due on Dec 27th and will be 30 weeks tomorrow. This baby is a girl and will be our 3rd and final. Everything has gone very well this pregnancy and I'm looking forward to our Christmas time baby!

Chiwifey-EDD9/5/15-12/30- I am 4w3d and have my first u/s the week of Jan 14. Just continuing to pray all goes well.

djma81-11/25-6w4d today! Had first US with RE yesterday.....just one little bean!! Woohoo!! Heartbeat good...119. Go back for another 12/8.

Ducky719-EDD 3/8/15 -12/30-30w2d and nothing too new or exciting to report. I am officially in poi.se pads (whomp whomp). Slightly embarrassing but oh well. There are worse things, right? Baby girl is always moving which is awesome most of the times and every once in awhile not awesome. She actually hurts me!! Deep down I don't really mind but every once in awhile I will holler OUCH! and scare DH. Next appointment is tomorrow for a regular check up. I should get my gtt results but I would imagine if I failed I would already know by now.

Itsmevkb-12/30-I think I've missed a few check-ins since I'm not 22 weeks. I had the anatomy scan and everything looked good. My blood pressure keeps creeping up so that's a bit of a concern so I am just hoping that things stay where they are. Oh, and the baby is HUGE, measuring over two weeks ahead. Because of that, lucky me gets to do the GD testing next week instead of at the normal 28 or so weeks.

Jenny935-12/30-I'm 30w1d today and other than the never-ending pain in my pelvis, I feel good. If only I had time for PT every day.

Jessylayne8-EDD8/15/15-12/30-7wk3d and I am sick as a dog. Taking Reglan and zofran and still vomiting several times a day. DS thinks it hilarious to run to the toilet and make vomit noises then giggle and run away. I have my first u/s Monday.

Julie21613-My EDD is 7/21/15-12/30-11 weeks 1 day....have NT scan on Monday. Still feeling nauseous most evenings.

Kdfecarie, EDD 8/29/14 (CS 8/22/14) 7/22 sorry its been a while life is crazy here right now, and i dont see it letting up till maybe november! 35 weeks now, and baby will be here in 26 days! I cant believe its so soon!!! Been rough with contractions and sickness making a return... Only a few more weeks!

KDR1919- EDD 4/16/15-8/12 I'm very early, 5 weeks tomorrow. EDD 4/16/15. My ultrasound is scheduled for 8/25. I'm still taking estradiol and progesterone 3 x daily. I don't feel pregnant and this doesn't seem real yet! It is hard to believe that it took 12 embryos over 5 transfers to get my twins and this pregnancy is from 1 single frozen embryo?!?

KMC84-EDD4/11/15-12/19-23w5d today! Baby is quite busy throughout the day. My growth scan Wednesday put baby at 1lb6oz and the 48th percentile. My endo is great and works very closely with me and they joke (not really a joke though!) that there is nothing they love more than a 7 pound baby! Lol! Hopefully we can make that happen!

Lynnyloo-11/25-8w3d today, thankfully no more bleeding since last Monday, next appointments on the 9th with OB and 15th with the MFM.

LuvBoston, EDD 3/9/15-12/30-Had an OB appt today neither her or the MFM will pin down a delivery date it's super aggravating. She also gave me a semi speech about a study they did about babies born at 37/38 weeks. I feel miserable today my back is killing me and I'm limping around and just feel like I'm getting sick again. Blah!

mdiblasi10 –EDD 1/30/15- 12/30-Coming up on week 36 I am feeling good and actually some improvement in the hip/pelvic pain from last week. Nothing really new to report, just getting so close! The end is always so bittersweet for me.

Mayzie15- EDD 2/01/15-12/30- 35 weeks and feeling pretty good. My last work day is this Friday. I can't believe I'm almost there and just counting down the time!

Mnerani – 9/2-Headed to 36 weeks this weekend! I have just started to feel big, slow, and tired- the lovely end of third tri. Our shipment from Kenya is going to be delivered to our house on Saturday (!) which is the last big, move-related "to do" before the baby arrives. Once we get all of that stuff moved in, I know I'm going to be like "OK, baby- time to meet your family!"

Mnj05-12/30-13w4d and still feeling good. We got a new mattress befits Christmas and now that it's broken in, I'm sleeping so much better! Next appointment isn't until January. I'm toying with the idea of an elective u/s in the next 2-3 weeks but I'm not sure yet.

Pennylane26 -Boy EDD 11.26.14 –11/11-Thanks for all of the kind words last week ladies! So I was put on bed rest for high BP/early Pre-E symptoms on Monday but then my BP just kept going up and I spent the week on the postpartum unit in the hospital until they could get a handle on my BP meds. I was discharged Thursday afternoon and am on restricted activity. BP is ok, not great (a little high) so as of now I'm taking my meds religiously and hoping to put off an induction for a bit longer (my ticker is off, I am 36w4d). I would love to make it to 39w although I'm not sure that is going to happen!

Racheyt0277-EDD.6.22.15-12/30-I am 15w1d. I had my elective u/s today & found out it's a boy! Collin is going to have a little brother & I am super excited.

srveatch –11/18- I just had my last visit before induction day on Tuesday. Baby brother seems happy and healthy and I am still 3cm dilated and holding steady so I guess I will make it til Tuesday which is alright with me. I like to plan things I can't wait to meet this little guy but I am getting nervous about how I will handle being a mother of two and a wife and working full time. It all seems so overwhelming. QOTW: We usually bring her favorite toys for the ride and let her play apps on the iPad. We have found some free Educational apps made by Tiny Hands that she loves. They are puzzles and matching games. We also try to leave during sleeping or napping times. She is a great car sleeper so it works out well. We haven't flown with her yet but have flying trips coming up in February and in June and it will be both of them.

Robeano-EDD 2/3/15- 12/30-35 weeks today. No appointments till next week. Gotta book my next ultrasound soon. Booked my hospital tour for the 8th of January. (Gonna be at a different hospital this time). I'm very excited for this baby to come. (That's my now positive way of responding when people ask how I feel, cuz saying miserable seems inappropriate somehow) any advice for swollen feet besides drink more water and put your feet up?

14w4d! I am starting to feel this one move from time to time now but not often. My appointment is next week!

QOTW: we get an hour, maybe two at night together after H goes down. We usually just relax on the couch and unwind.

36 weeks today! Almost full term. I also realized I have so much to do before baby comes, just waiting for some nesting energy lol. Hospital tour this Thursday, midwife appointment Wednesday. And I gotta book my next ultrasound for next week. Getting near the end!!

QOTW: hubby and I spend a few hours every night together. We also 'try' to do a date night once a month.

I had my first u/s yesterday and LO measured perfectly.
QOTW: we get a few hours after the kids go to bed at 7pm. We usually watch TV.

12w1d. NT scan was supposed to be yesterday...but they had to reschedule till tomorrow. Excited to see my little ones! praying everything is ok. Still very nauseous and tired. Hoping that is coming to an end soon.

QOTW:.. Prior to my BFP, we would have 1 date night per month....my parents would take DD for the night. Between the exhaustion and nausea this time, haven't had a date night since October! We do have maybe an hour every night after DD goes down because I am usually down for the count by 8:30 every night. We do like to catch up on DVR'd shows during that quiet time we do have!

31 wks today! While I agree with @ducky719 about time standing still in some ways (Oh how I wish I could just fall into bed & sleep w/out aches pains and heartburn!) I'm also feeling like OMG 9 more weeks and I have to figure out how to parent a toddler and a newborn at the same time! Also like Ducky I am worried about PP pain. My tear last time was so awful that it still hurts some days, and I'm a couple months from possibly doing it again! But in general, I feel ok and keep chugging. I did get an unexpected snow day today, and it was decided so late that DS was already at daycare so for the first time ever I left him there and went home by myself.

QOTW: We have some time after DS goes to bed at 7 or 7:30...sometimes we chill together, sometimes we hang out in different places and just both enjoy doing nothing on our own.

@Ducky719‌ ya I hear ya. This time I know how much life can suck during labour, and then recovery. And this time I have a toddler at home! It's like I'm super excited to have the baby but dreading the pain.

31 weeks 1 day, had an u/s yesterday baby looks great, bigger than LO was at birth. Still no delivery date MFM said we will see how things evolve

I lost my sh-t on the secretary because she was giving me a hard time about booking my weekly appts because of mlk day. I got so overly angry I almost leapt over the desk to punch her. I feel like I wake up every morning in a worse mood than the day before and I'm just waiting for someone to piss me off. I don't get it I'm usually mellow and hate ppl behind their backs.:) I am having nicu dreams every night which I think is stressing me out and wakes me up.
I also feel exactly like @Ducky719‌ I have no desire to go through the pain I experienced after my c section I don't want to go through 11 months of pt again.

Did anyone else get overly angry with ppl in the third trimester? This never happened the last time.

QOTW - We try and do a date night once every month or two and have our favorite BYOB restaurant that we always go to. We were actually supposed to go Saturday but our sitter cancelled because it was snowing

Otherwise we get an hour or two at night but that doesn't really count since I am frequently tidying up the house, prepping for the next day and lately in bed!

36 weeks and I have my fourth cold during this pregnancy. Severe anemia, Four colds and the flu - this time and my Dr. doesn't understand why I'm not gaining weight? I have an appt today to test for strep b and we finally get to see this little man on an ultrasound. I'm excited about that

I'm officially on leave and it's strange to realize in under a month I will have an infant and a toddler. We have decided to keep my son in daycare Tuesday & Thursday - which seemed silly since I'm home - but I'm thankful because there is still so much to get done and I'm tired a lot now.

@Ducky719‌ - I had a bad second degree tear last time and 26 hours of labor - I'm not looking forward to that again. This time I just want to get in and out so I can see DS 1 at home.

@luvboston‌ - I'm short with everyone my mother still lives with us 8 months and counting - UGH and MH says I'm awful to be around sometimes - so it's definitely not just you.

QOTW date nights are few and far between and right now we go to bed early if we can and zone out. MH watches TV and I catch up with emails on my phone.

26w3d here. This pregnancy is definitly harder than when I was pg with A. My heartburn is nonstop and I actually woke up from a dream where I was having terrible heartburn, except it wasnt just a dream...I woke up almost vomiting from hb

I got maternity compression stockings because I'm getting varicose veins all over. They are so hard to get on, but wow, what a difference! I'm starting to have a little anxiety about L&D because I can't go past 38 weeks and I don't want an induction, I dont want to deliver before 37 weeks again, I want to get home ASAP because I don't want to be away from A. She has never spent a night away from us and it gives me such guilt to think of leaving her!

QOTW: We get a few hours after A goes to sleep around 8/8:30, but its spent doing laundry, picking up, and watching tv on the couch.

@Ducky719, we didn't notice the blood pressure spike till 39 weeks, but it was creeping up last time around 37ish weeks. For most of this pregnancy it's been in the 120's/80. Today it was 150/96. So last time my blood pressure got up to the 210/120 at 39 weeks so I was induced (no protein was found in my urine last time though) Then I failed to progress after hours of labour, then I got stuck at 8.5cm for 5 hours and we had an emergency c-section.

So since I'm having a transfer of care, my options are more limited. I'm kinda preparing myself for not the best scenario. But in the long run the most important thing is a healthy baby.

How's your BP been so far? FX you don't go down the same road I am.

I ended up not checking BP at home with advice from my midwives that people aren't very good at taking their own BP. But it's been fine so far, but on the weekend I started having headaches which made me suspect it was creeping up. I will likely be put on medication now.

VBAC isn't impossible, but I have stricter guidelines now. With a strong likely hood of being induced.

I'm disappointed cuz it seems like my body just has enough at the 9 month mark. I was hoping for a different outcome, but I feel like this is a path I know.

37 weeks tomorrow. One more OB appointment the 16th and my RCS is scheduled for the 23rd - only two weeks to go, ahhhh!!!! I was open to a VBAC, but I would have to go into labor on my own (no induction) by then and it isn't looking like that's very likely. My OB checked my cervix on Monday and there was nothing going on in the slightest. But I am at peace with that - it is what it is. My belly is ginormous so I'm pretty uncomfortable by the end of the day, but still feeling good for how far along I am. We are so excited to meet her, even Grayson talks about her every day unprompted

Soooooo sweet!

QOTW: Not very often, but when we do we usually go to dinner and a movie.

@Ducky719 Hugs. I feel the same away about the whole recovery process.

@kmc84 We haven't left G overnight either, so I totally understand. I hope your HB goes away.

@kmc84 OMG the heartburn! I had that same choking thing happen last week! I feel like if I eat after lunch it is just heartburn fuel! I feel your pain, hope you are finding ways to manage!

@robeano I'm sorry your body is not cooperating. That stinks! @ducky719 is lucky because her hubby is a nurse so he can take her BP
