Temping Questions

I am new to temping and would like to try it.  I think someone said the BBT on Amazon was good?  Also should I wait until my period ends until I start temping?  Sorry if these questions have been previously discussed.  I am feeling down about getting my period today so I thought I would make some changes for the next cycle.

    I purchased THIS BBT THERMOMETER off of Amazon and it seems to work just fine for me. I didn't wait to start temping either. I got my thermometer and BAM started the next morning. I'm an impatient one :)

    The Mabis brand on amazon is recommended by many on TB. Be sure to be consistent with temperature taking and to temp at the same time every morning.
