I love this post title. Made me snort a little. Today my waffle is old man winter. I want nothing more than to let my children prance through the yard to blow off steam but it is WAY TO DANG COLD. I love Canada, but if I could move to Cali I would do it and never look back.

People who mommy shame. If you don't breast feed, if you do breast feed, if you don't have a med-free birth, if you don't have a midwife, if you do have a midwife,.etc. Who cares ! If you get to take home a happy healthy baby and God willing that baby stays healthy I consider that a win. No need to shame mothers if they don't do things the way that others do.

My brand new puppy. Why I thought it was a great idea to get an 8 week old puppy when I'm almost 8 weeks pregnant is beyond me. Picking up his poop has me all sorts of dry heaving. And all I want to do is sleep, he wants to play. Have mercy on me puppy!

Yes. I actually really dislike those badges (Natural Birth! Breastfeeding Only!) or whatever they are because I think they are doing just that.

Haha very true! I've said it before that I don't know how 2nd, 3rd etc time mom's do it. I couldn't imagine running after a little one while feeling like this!

Several diapers have caused vomits, which is so pleasant.

Ahhhh, nothing quite like vomiting in a bag next to your giggling child. The joys of motherhood. The other day I didn't make it to the garbage and ended up just yaking on the kitchen floor. My 1 year old climbed up in my lap and tried to comfort me during, so sweet, yet so gross.

The Federal Govt for not at least delaying work today. I get that 3 inches is not a ton of snow, but no salt, no plowing with the amount of traffic and commuters around here makes for a treacherous commute. I still had to take DD to daycare because I can't telework with her home and the 1.5 miles to daycare took me 40 minutes and I saw a city bus sliding sideways down the road. I would take leave, but I have to save every single minute for maternity leave.

You live in DC area too? We're in DC. I'm still at home as our nanny hasn't arrived yet. Her kids had a delay and now traffic. At this rate, I'll just go work at a coffee shop down the street until pick up. I think this is due to the few storms last year when it never ended up snowing and they cancelled.

I'm in western Loudoun County and people here are LIVID there's school today - a lot of our schools out this way are understaffed and kids are in the gyms. Plus, the dude on the news said in all his years reporting, this was the worst he's ever seen the roads. VDOT definitely screwed the pooch on this one.

Yeah, I am in Montgomery County, MD. They predicted .5 -1 inch and so far we are at about 3 inches and still snowing. The major roadways are still terrible. The news is reporting that it is taking almost an hour from 95 to 270 on the beltway.

All my puppy wants to do is lick me and I have no desire to be touched. What touching is allowed is done by the 9 month old. She's learning "soft" which I say and she strokes my face softly instead of pinching it.

My 40 min commute took 2 hours this morning, and we use the Waze app, which tried its hardest to send us on every alternative route possible. GAH.

My waffle today (mmmm waffles) is kind of the L&D coordinator that did my orientation yesterday. She was a nice lade, but her advice was on the super-conservative side, much more so than my doctor's. The most I research it, the more a GD test at 8 weeks with no intention of follow-up just sounds really off. I mean, if I passed it, and then I develop it later, how are we going to know? And if I don't pass a one hour but would pass a 3 hour, then I'm dealing with something incredibly stressful for no reason.

Also, way to fear-monger, lady. I drink bucketfuls of water a day, and I also will drink an occasional tea and I drink one Kcup coffee a day. One weak brewed cup of coffee a day is totally within the guidelines of every pregnancy handbook I've ever read. Don't tell me that such a minimal amount of caffeine could be a loss factor. Blerg.

Mine is the mom of the new kid in the daycare she sends him with no breakfast, proceeds to tell me she packed snacks for him ( all sugar crap!! Nothing a child should eat let a lone for breakfast) and to top it off he doesn't have a coat today. What if there was a fire or a power outage???? Really it's his first day and this is how you start him off????

My nose is a twat waffle. It is indeed pregnancy psychosis but I am convinced that I can smell EVERYTHING. It is all some kind of queasy horrifying super power. Every pore on my poor fiance's face? yep I can smell it. Anything that's happening on tv? I can smell it. The dog drinking water in the other room? That too. I can smell it all and it all makes me want to toss my cookies.

In conclusion, I'm pretty sure it is me that is the miserable twat waffle on this Tuesday. I own it.

We don't get along. I lived with them a short while after they got married and he would ask me "Are you pregnant yet?" in a mocking tone if I ever stayed the night at my boyfriend (now husband)'s house.

Also he's just an all around shitty character. He's lied to my sister about his porn addiction too many times for me to handle, and treats their kids like crap. My tolerance level for him is zero, so if we're on the phone and he gets home from work she always "has to go." or if I call during the day while they're both home she can't ever talk for very long since he can't handle their kids.

He's just such an asshat that I could rage about him all day long.
