G has finally given me a big belly laugh! I was playing with a stuffed dog that played "Jingle Bells" with him, and he finally gave a big laugh! Up to now it was only a little giggle here and there, and big smiles. No big laughs. I was so freaking excited. Especially since I was starting to get a complex thinking that maybe he wasn't as happy as V was at that age since V laughed a lot more. I know it's dumb, and don't compare babies, and blah blah blah. Even better, DH was videoing G at the time, so we actually got the first belly laugh on video.
Harper has been saying so many words lately! Words that only I used to understand that she said have now become the actual word that she means. She also seems to be doing a little better with the baby
My little girl loves books, so I just but a bookshelf in the living room. She is thrilled! Dh and I both love reading so we are hoping this love of books is forever
IMMS that L said "thank you" over the weekend. He's a great signer, but the words are coming slowly. He has also been babbling up a storm lately and I'm sure there are more words that I'm missing.
Also, I'm looking forward to talking to an ENT tomorrow about getting L tubes. He's had nearly constant ear infections and I'm ready for that to stop. I know that MH and I both had them so it was nearly highly likely that he would as well.
IMMS that after getting a phone call last night that my mom was in an accident, she's fine and being discharged home this morning. She said seeing L tonight after not seeing her for ten days will be her therapy I'm on vacation two states away and started having a better relationship with my mom when L was born a few months ago so the fear & sadness that ran through me last night was off the charts.
Thanks @missmimsyy. I never realized the full extent of the sacrifices my mom made and the crap she put up with from my dad to raise my brothers and I until I became a mom myself...
