Would you change doctors??

I have been going to the same group of doctors that I went to fr my DD a little over a year ago. I had no problems and really like the convenience of the office. But recently they have gone from 4 physicians to 1 and she is not available for many appointments because she is doing most surgeries. They have midwives that are available and I have been given a "fill in" doctor until their new doctors come in May (I'm due w my twins in June). So my question is from your experiences will it be a big deal to switch doctors late in the game? And possibly see midwives for some appointments?

I had to switch Drs in September and my twins were supposed to come in Nov. I delivered in Oct but it didn't matter to me because my OB wasn't going to deliver my twins, you just get whatever Dr is delivering that day.

I also saw the Nurse Practitioner every other appt. that's just how they do it at my Drs office. To me it really didn't make a difference, if I have a question I can always email my Dr. And if I needed something urgent I could go to L&D to get checked out. So I would be fine with it but trust your instinct. Why did all those Drs suddenly leave? What is going on in that practice?
