Toy storage?

Oh ladies my house has been taken over by toys, toys and more toys! We don't have a big house - and not a lot storage. We have a toy box but it doesn't hold a lot and we don't have a playroom. Between walkers, puzzles and the bigger toys - no clue where to store it all. I've thought about getting one of thewooden shelves with the bins - but the bins look small. I would appreciate any suggestions - what has worked?

DH gave me a storage bench that matches our furniture for Christmas.
I had been eyeing them for more discreet toy storage and we love it!! We also have a few toy storage bins and shelves with bins, and I put away a lot of stuff when Christmas came.

We have two storage ottomans that we use for toy storage.

And I agree with PPs about rotating toys. We found that D definitely goes through phases with what he plays with anyway, so he doesn't need all of them out in the living space at once.

I have the wooden Ikea storage with decent size bins. It pretty much holds all the toys.

Also if you have a lot of books, like we do. And if you're half decent at sewing you can make fabric shelves you can directly hang on a wall. That way it's not taking up floor space. My MIL made us a set of 3 for Christmas and I can't wait to have hubby hang them up.

I agree with PP about rotating toys.

Thanks you ladies for all the suggestions we just bought a few storage bins to store in the garage and I like the idea of rotating toys. I think this will help - because I feel like DS is overwhelmed with all the toys as is. For those ladies that rotate toys how do you determine when to do it or how often?

@Robeano I'll have to look at ikea that storage unit - might really help us out.

@Ducky719‌ I wish we had the space you do and I agree with @richzep‌ love your living room and currently my living room looks like a bomb went off - so unfair

We use a big tub that you would use for manure. It's called the little giant muck tub. Works great and LO can tip it over .

The toy rotation is working pretty well for us. J shows a lot more interest if there is less "stuff" out and available.
