Yesterday I was craving cake like crazy. So after hubby's basketball league was over, he went to the store and bought ingredients to bake me a cake. Maybe it's the hormones, but I find this to be the sweetest thing ever. He could have just picked up one from the bakery, but he wanted to make me one homemade.
I am totally having cake for breakfast. No shame!
Also I would love to hear sweet things someone has done for you since becoming prego. Doesn't have to be a SO. Could be a family member, friend, co-worker, complete stranger, etc...

Re: I have to brag on my hubby
Dh has been amazing, he knows I haven't been feeling well and has been picking up the slack for me. He's even gone to pick up my favorite food before coming home from work. He did a lot of that last week. I don't know what I would do without him, he has helped so much and is awesome with dd.
I just have to chime in to say that my BF is generally pretty excellent with the cleaning, especially the dishes (even when I wasn't pregnant!). I've gotta say, he's a sensitive, supportive, and patient guy overall and I'm realy quite lucky to have him. It's so nice to know how true that is, and that he's going to make a great dad.
@ohkay that cake looks like a fine breakfast. That is a super sweet gesture on the part of your husband.
Me: 35, He: 41. Baby #1!
This is the sweetness I get...pregnancy makes my Bp drop to the lower end of normal which makes me very lightheaded, slightly lethargic and a little chilly. Baths make me a dizzy mess I'm assuming due to sitting in the warm water. Showers are better but I'm always afraid I'm going to fall over or something. DH hangs out in the bathroom in case I need him and warms a towel in the dryer so I don't get too cold when I get out.
My husband has been bringing me breakfast in bed everyday for the past 2 months after reading in his dad book that it helps MS. Even though my early morning nausea has calmed down and I doubt I still need toast and OJ delivered bedside, I think I'm just gonna keep enjoying this!
Me- 28, DH- 32 ----> together six years, married June 2012
Initial diagnosis of PCOS, currently labeled as unexplained infertility
BFP 12/20/13, EDD 8/25/2014, baby got his wings at 11 weeks and 3 days.
BFP 11/9/14, EDD 7/24/2015
From washing the dishess to changing the cat litter even cooking dinner... and getting up in middle of the night to make me peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches. my husband has been very understanding and very very helpful. that makes me fall in love with him even more!!
He also spent a half hour calling different ice cream places on NYE to see if they were still open and had soft serve. We didn't actually get ice cream but the effort totally made it okay.
I have a midwife appt this week and it's a 4hr drive one way, so I decided to spend the night in town rather than drive 8hrs in one day. Well, DH knows I desperately need a break since I'm working lots, chasing the toddler, constantly sick with some virus or another, and just exhaustion. He got me a pre-natal massage and manicure for me when I get there
My DH only cooks eggs and peanut butter and jelly...since I've been pregnant he has learned to make 3 simple meals. He offers to cook all the time even though he has no idea what he is doing its so appreciated especially when I'm feeling sick or just tired. I'm not allowed to lift more than 10 lbs so he is really strict about that and carries all the laundry and comes food shopping and I just point. I miss being able to do everything myself but he has been so helpful. These guys all sound like the makings of good daddies.
My DH has also stepped up to the board- dishes, laundry, kitty litter duties, breakfast almost every day before work and helps me make dinner. He says he wants to learn how to cook now so he can make my favorites once baby comes. Makes me appreciate him even more.
He is also currently bathing both kids while I "rest" before bedtime
