  I've never been told (or heard of being told) to drink OJ before an u/s.

  I don't think that is necessary at this stage of the pregnancy if you are still getting ultrasounds. They are checking for growth measurements and I would think you wouldn't want them "bouncing" around or moving too much.

  My doctor told me to drink orange juice if it's been awhile since baby has moved and I'm concerned. However, I've never been told to drink it before an ultrasound. However, sunny d isn't orange juice. I think it's technically a citrus flavored soda drink (less than 2% juice).

  you could also eat an orange, drink some water, etc. this also is a wonderful call to your ultrasound place. I can only imagine the laughing from the nurses...

  I am having weekly bio physical test which is an Ultrasound & was also told to drink orange juice prior to the appt. to make sure baby is moving. They have 30 minutes to earn their 8 points (2 based on movement) and drinking OJ helps get them moving. But I would stick with an actual orange juice.

  I usually have a screw driver before my ultra sounds but I'm scared of the high fructose corn syrup in sunny D so I definitely make sure I use 100% juice.

  No brains, no headaches, OP. Amazing GIFs everyone.

  This is like on the Jessica Simpson show where she asks if Chicken of the Sea is actually Chicken. Is Sunny D actually orange juice? Is butter a carb?

  Please, OP, call your office so the nurses can have a good laugh at your expense. I'm sure they already have. If you need any information about how you got pregnant or how the baby is going to come out (no bumpies cheat and tell her the stork please), feel free to also ask these questions of your doctor.
