Old man winter sucks!

Anyone else with me? I'm so glad I am due in the summer and don't have to worry about newborns in the horrible cold. Right now my actual temperature is -15 degrees with a wind chill of almost -30 degrees! And they say we are expecting about 5 inches of snow with high winds. Blizzard, here we come. If I didn't have to work today I'd be cuddling with DS under the blankets all day. I'm just ready for summer!

It's the coldest week we've had this winter (Pittsburgh) but I am thanking my lucky stars it's not Polar Vortex cold (michigan, last winter- we moved).

I've been thinking the same thing - thankful for a summer baby! It's about 9 here with a windchill of -5 right now. Tomorrow it's supposed to be a whopping 24 though, yay.

So happy I got a remote start installed last week.

Guise! We lost power at 2:30pm yesterday and got it back at 5:15 am this morning. Thank God for my down comforter but it was cold in the house (16 degrees). Didn't sleep well and made me nervious, thinking what to do when we have the baby.

I have a possible projected windchill of -50!!!! Tomorrow. Good news is the hubby gets to come home at -30 so the next couple of weeks I should be getting some extra time with him

47 and raining here, and we're expecting to get about 3 inches by tomorrow. ffs, so glad we are not the ones feeding animals today!

This weekend the windchills were around -40 to -50C (-40 to -60F)

-34C (-29F) today! Next week is looking better!

I don't know fahrenheit... but it's COLD here. Haha. We've had extreme cold warnings for the past 2 days and if it weren't for appointments I'd probably be bundled up inside. Going out with a toddler is not fun at all, I don't know how I'll manage next winter with 2 little ones!

Oh I know, it sucks! I didn't think about it too much before pre motherhood. Luckily all the moms in my town feel this way and have started making sure we get together for weekly play dates just to get kids running around and we can all socialize!

I know. NYC here. I only leave my apt to work and I was just telling my bf all we can do is watch movies because I'm not going outside. Definitely glad our babies won't have to suffer through the cold as newborns!

Glad I'm due in the summer but man I'd love to go sit with my belly in the sunshine right now. Not to mention I'd exercise extra if it wasn't so stupid cold.

I don't even know what a - temperature feels like. Aaaah, California. Though I have to admit that temps in the 40s with the wind chill and hardwood floors throughout my house have me feeling like winter really does exist in the Bay Area. I agree though, I couldn't imagine being one of our December/January/February mommas who get to take their fresh babies home in this weather! Yikes!

There's not enough hot chocolate in the world that can remedy that!!!

I know this thread died yesterday, but I drove an hour and a half to the airport in the snow this morning, and now my flight is canceled. It looks like I might get out this afternoon. I seriously have the worst travel luck! And it takes me one drive in the snow to decide I'm ready to move back to Texas (my home state).
