Stretch marks are funny things

Hello!! Hope all is well!!
I was just wondering, does anyone have more stretch marks on one side?
Basically, I was applying moisturiser to my marks earlier and noticed I've got more on my left hand side, and they're a lot darker than on my right - especially on my lower back / hip.
Just wondering if there's any scientific or particular reason for it, such as the way the baby is lying - or the way I lie - or is it just some random thing? Haha!
I'm not concerned about it or anything, just interested in why they're darker.
Anyone else have darker ones on one side?

    I dunno. I was just wondering maybe there's more weight on one side? Or am I looking into this too much? Haha!
    I couldn't find anything on it online, so maybe I am just being a bit dim! Are marks just marks? I dunno! I ain't no nurse! Haha!

    Maybe your LO is hanging out more on one side than the other? :-/

    Hmm. It is possible the baby favors one side more than the other. I know my LO is always on my right side and noticeably so.

    I only have them on my hip on my
    Left side so far. They go through my tattoo. But I think they are old ones just getting worse. I think it's normal for them not to be even.
