Hate to be blunt...but hemmoroids!

ugh...they have been so bad! This is my second child and I don't remember them being this bad after my first. Any tips to help!!

  • I'm right there with you. I had them with my first but they were healed enough at this point that I didn't even notice them.

I'm positive I will never be the same again. Anyways, I am still using Tucks whenever I need relief.

  • Haha...I agree! Things will never be the same for sure. I hAve been using Tucks too, but that tends to be a very temporary fix. Maybe I should bite the bullet and get them checked by my doctor. I just don't feel like getting that type of examination.
  • Thanks...will ask my doc for that cream!
  • Hate. Hate. Hate. Want them gone now. Never have had one in my life until after birth and now I have one that just does not want to go away!:'(
  • Hate them! I have one nasty f*cker that keeps popping back up. It's horrible!

  • Mine were terrible for the first several months. Much worse than the first time around. This post reminded me I haven't had a recent flare up so might be mostly healed? I ate lots and lots of fiber for a long time which might have helped?
  • I had none during pregnancy and then got the mother of them all while pushing. No lie...it hurt worse than my third degree tear...and my vagina has healed and that damn thing keeps fairing up. Last weekend it was so bad I could barely sit and it bled a lot. If that happens again I am going to the dr.
  • I had a bad one this time.  It was bleeding and very painful.  I tried tucks, etc.  What helped the most was plain yogart (sic) directly on them.

This is me. I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and do the suppository. Sorry ladies, but I am glad I am not the only one in this boat. I thought I was!

I could have written this.. I had 2 the size of quarters.. I was in agony for like a week after birth. No better advice than what PPs have said.. Hopefully it goes away soon! The hemorrhoids make me frightened to give birth again..
  • I had 3 after delivery (agree they were worse then my tear and episiotomy) and still have 1 all the time. I use this cream every night (a little goes a long way) it helps with comfort but it's still there.
