Aaaand the results are in....

So we did some of the sleep training with DD and she did phenomenal. I had it in my head that she would be like her brother and take a week or so to settle into it and no. She took one day. The first night took her under 20 minutes to fall asleep. Night two took her less than 2 minutes and she slept for 10 hours!!!! Holy smokes. She really needed this. Naps will still need work, but still. Woot woot!

    We did use Ferber. Sorry. It is a CIO method, but it's a interval checking method, so they don't feel abandoned. She was the same as your little man. It was either on me, or with me. Obviously, with this change, it's made vast improvements. She just had an hour and a half nap. She never naps that long.

    I have a low bar, I don't expect babies to sleep through the night until close to 1.....which is good since no babies through here have except for a 6 month old we did respite care for :)

    We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013.  We love her to pieces.  

    We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011.  She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

    Same with me @ally2011‌. My "version" of sleep training really is about learning to fall asleep on their own... Just enough to make it through and transition into the next sleep cycle. All MOTN wakings are attended to and we let our LOs phase them out naturally. Since we started, she's now up twice or three times vs five or six from the previous week :S
