Another sex question re- breastfeeding.

This question is for BTDT moms and moms who are a bit further out than me. At my postpartum appointment MW mentioned that sex can be uncomfortable while breastfeeding because of estrogen levels, and when we DTD last week for the first time it was definitely very uncomfortable even though I had a c-section, wasn't expecting that. She said if it doesn't get better there's an estrogen cream that she can prescribe but I'm leary of extra estrogen because of a family history of breast cancer. Just wondering if other breastfeeding moms started out with uncomfortable sex but it got better after a few times? Or am I doomed to have a bad sex life til LO weans one day?? Please give me some hope!

Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14)
Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!

    At least in the uncool zone we're drinking butter beer spiked with rum bc we're also Harry Potter fans ;)
