I've always gone with the rule 5-5-5. 5 hours room temp, 5 days in the fridge, and 5 months in the freezer. Here is my question...I know frozen milk should be used within 24 hours of being thawed, if I thaw 5oz ..heat 5 oz and DD only takes 3oz, can I put the other 2oz back into the fridge to heat again later? Is there any danger is re-refrigerating milk that has already been heated up?
