It just takes a little lube for....

The darn Doppler to work! My friend mailed me one and I spent 30 frantic minutes trying to find the baby's heartbeat. Even googled youtube vidoes to see if I was doing it right ( how hard can it be) well duh.. Needed some lubricant for it to work! There's a reason the Dr uses it every time with the doppler. Winning in the smart department over here! Edit: typo

    Aloe is what I use. I hate the lube stuff. Aloe rubs in and isn't sticky.

    Mine too! It's pretty awesome.
    ETA I still hate having so much of it slathered on though. It takes forever to wipe it off and I still never get it all.

    Yes! I have a weird belly button mental issue and this always freaks me out. I think belly buttons are gross and even more gross if they have stuff in them- lint, soap, lube...

    I didn't get a Doppler because I know I would worry myself sick if I didn't find a heart beat. I'm not a fan of the live they use. I'm usually on a break from work and feel sticky all day, even after wiping off.

    LOL.  I use aloe vera (the clear kind); it wipes off much easier than the gel that came with the doppler.

    I had the warming gel once and now I am bummed every time it's freezing cold!!
