  My suggestion is to talk to the nursing staff there and let them give you suggestions.

  The short story is that when you're dehydrated, your body (brain/pituitary) secretes antidiuretic hormone (ADH). Oftentimes the pituitary will release oxytocin at the same time as ADH, which can lead to contractions. Once a dehydrated pregnant mama gets back to normal "hydration status," the body stops responding to what it thinks is oxytocin telling the ute to contract. And the contractions go away.
  
  It doesn't sound like you were ever in active labor, based on what you're telling us. But hang in there, it will happen. Maybe even later today! It's better to labor at home, IMO. Good luck
