I wish I had a ...,,,,

.....Portable Diaper changing platform for the car.

Today I was changing a diaper in the back seat and thought wouldn't it be nice if I had a soft but sturdy platform to lay out on the seat or on my lap to make our baby more comfortable while changing her in the car?

Who changes diapers in the back seat?
Would anyone find this useful? Does something like this exist? I was thinking of making a prototype.

  • Ooo me too. We just drove from OK to WI and back for Christmas.. I changed a lot of diapers on my lap in the back seat. It also made me wish for a bigger car..
  • Loading the player...
  • That would be amazing. I have done it in the car several times but it's not the easiest thing. Also...I think diaper changing stations are gross. I have used them occassionally. It's one thing when they are in the handicapped stall but quite another when they are right by the sink.

  • I have an SUV and generally use the trunk, but have changed her in the back seat a few times. It is such a pain because of the slant, she always rolls in.
I always lay my Skip Hop portable changing station down wherever I change her, backseat, trunk, bathroom changing station, etc. That works somewhat well, it does not fix the slant in the backseat, but protects her from the seatbelts.

  • I change diapers on the floor of my van or the driver's seat, but only because with two rf seats, I can't reach the back seat. I'm not opposed to changing stations anywhere except Walmart. Walmart changing stations are gross! And I always use my pad.

  • Thanks ladies! I did some research to see if there is something already out there and no luck. I could really use one of these.
  • Do it! I'd pay good money for that!!
