  I'm 16 weeks and a TTM and I've been having BH since 13 weeks. My OB suggested drinking LOTS of water and trying to lay down if I have more than 5 BH in an hour. With DD1 I didn't have any BH until I was past my due date. But with DD2 they started at 20-something weeks and were pretty intense. I really thought I was going into preterm labor a couple times but didn't go into labor until a week past my due date. To me, BH feel like my uterus tightening/hardening and it somewhat takes my breath away, though not painful.

  BH actually start as early as 6 weeks, but most women don't feel them. I'm 17 weeks and I had them really bad with my first between 4 and 6 months...DS seemed to get stuck in them...and the same this time. The stopped and didn't start up again for me until 36 weeks.
