Newbie with Pregnancy

My husband and I have been ttc for 3.5 years (since we got married in June of 2011). I have a 13 year old son, had a miscarriage prior to him. My husband has no children. I was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve or DOR (diminished ovarian reserve) 2.5 years ago. Tried two IUI's with one RE and gave up easily after to BFN's. They told us our only option was IVF but we were not considering that for personal reasons. We took some time off and in October 2014 we decided to start back up again with another RE. My AMH level once again confirmed DOR at 0.824. I had another SIS and SHG in November to confirm no blocked tubes and uterus okay. Had a natural cycle at that time. Was taking Fertility Blend, vitamin d(because I was really low), fish oil to help with egg quality and aspirin (to help with implantation if I were to conceive). I stopped the fertility blend for my third IUI cycle (first with this new RE) because you can't take it with fertility drugs. They started me on injectables which were Follistim at 150iu. After three days they confirmed I was doing so well on it that they lowered by dose to 75iu for the next six days! I triggered on 12/3 with three matures follicles! My estrogen was also at 1,027 when I triggered which was amazing for me. I had my iui on 12/4 and I also had acupuncture 20 minutes prior to iui and 10 minutes after the iui. I didn't care for the acupuncture. We had 76 million washed sperm of my husbands. He decided to take fertility blend for men to help with his count, motility and morphology. I took an hpt 12 days after trigger shot. It did come out positive but I was concerned it was the trigger shot still not fully out of my system. I tested three more times after that and all got darker. I was still very cautious. First beta was exactly 3.5 years to the day we were married on 12/18/14 (married on 6/18/11). Beta was 113 and progesterone was 28.3! Second beta was 611 and progesterone was 36.9 and third beta was 7,679 and progesterone was over 40. With my progesterone being high this is great because it means less of a chance of miscarrying. I am on progesterone pessories. I am currently 6 weeks and extremely full of anxiety which I am sure doesn't help. I do believe it was a blessing from God and my RE was just amazing. We go in on Monday to hear the heartbeat and I am really praying everything goes well. I am glad to be here ladies and I pray for happy and healthy pregnancies..........Thanks.

Well, no. This is a board for people TTC with IF. There are about 239423984234 boards you can post on now that you are pregnant. If you want to post about your IF even though you are actually pregnant now, SAIF or PAIF would be a good place for that.

I would like to say I just read your history. I am so sorry for all that you have gone through with losing your babies. I will be praying for a sticky full term baby for your IVF this month.

I don't think your intention was to offend anyone carebear. Honestly. Sometimes people come on here all braggadocious and wave pee sticks like "OMG am I preggo?!" And of course they get flamed and rightfully so. I honestly laughed when I read your post because I think you're just really naive here. i'd like to think you generally thought it was acceptable to post your squeeee on 2IF (It would've been helpful for you to read what KIND of board this is though)

I think your best bet is joining a birth month club with ladies who are due at the same time you are. GL.

I agree, check in with your birth month, that's a great place. Only MODs can delete threads and only for a TOU violation- it's better that you not delete it anyway, that is frowned upon on the boards.

I do have one more question. I am not understand why my secondary if is not acceptable here? I just read the newbie section and at the beginning it states any woman ttc for 12 months or more and ttc via iui, ivf, etc. As well as having had a child before, which I did, 13 years ago. I'm 38 now.

Because this is a board for women who are currently trying to conceive with secondary infertility issues or with infertility issues with living children. None of us are pregnant. This is not the place for someone new who is currently pregnant to post. PAIF and SAIF are the place for this type of post. Best of luck.

I am sorry you suffered through 2IF. Congratulations on your pregnancy. You have not been active on this board so it is not where you will get a lot of excited congratulating and squeeing.

Unfortunately, none of us are pregnant and are still struggling with all of the emotions that come with infertility. I'm sure you can remember your own frustration over the last 3+ years- we are still living that frustration.

I hope all goes well.
