I have never been so happy to see my period. I was at CD37, normally have 22 day cycles.
I knew right away I was not pg because we only had sex once last month and I took hpt 16 days after sex and got a negative. I may have tested once or twice more just in case(so not like me).
Any hoo, woke up to AF this morning and did a little happy dance. Only thing is now I don't know if my cycle will go back to 22 days or be long like the last one. I stopped temping/using opk's a long time ago so have no idea when O will be this month. That's a big deal because my husband is only good for a few rolls in the hay a month and I have to time wisely.
Well I guess it really doesn't matter since even when I time it perfectly it doesn't seem to do me any good.
This was really just a bent post but if anyone else has had an unusually long cycle was the next one back to normal or longer.

I don't have much experience but every once and awhile I get a wonky long cycle. It definitely coordinates if I o late but no rhyme or reason. Just enough to mess with our next cycle 'schedule'. We are so not spontaneous.
I have no experience with longer cycles so I can't help there. I will keep my FX that your body gets back on track with your normal cycles!
Woohoo! I hope your cycle is normal this month. My cycles used to be clockwork (27-28 days) but after AF returning post-kidlette #1 my cycle is anywhere from 22-28 days. It is so frustrating to have variations in length. Why are our bodies so unpredictable as well as uncooperative? Annoying.
