Thankfully, this trip went much better than the first, but DD2 still made sure every passenger knew us as she screamed bloody murder non-stop for about 20 minutes while we all waited to bored. She was exhausted, kept screaming that she wanted a bottle and a nap, but she refused to sleep in DH's arms. Instead she writhed about like a fish out of water yelling "down! down!" through her screams, then when he put her down she grabbed at him screaming "up! up!" for 20 minutes. Non. Stop. Thankfully no one shot us dirty looks, but I did get a few looks of sympathy from other parents and the mom right in front of us gave us a candy cane (when DD2 refused to even look at it, I told the mom maybe I would give it to the passengers around us

). Once we were in the plane she was better and toward the end she managed to sleep about 2 hours in the Ergo and 1 in her seat - which had to have been from pure exhaustion because she had refused so many times before.
All in all, I'm glad we're not going to be doing this for at least another year. And I have absolutely no idea how we're supposed to handle this with 3 kids...
