At one week old. LO was cleaned in the diaper area and we used a damp cloth to help with any spit up but she didn't need one before then. Too much good stuff on her skin when she was born.

Our daughter received her first bath when she was eight days old. We had a home birth and decided to let the wonderful vernix on her skin soak in. Today, at 24 days old, we bathe her in water (no soap, no need as it dries out babies' skin) every two days.
