Lower back pain

hi all!
I'm 37 weeks today and
I've been having Lower back pain since last night and can't get any relief. Went to the doc today and during the NST it said I was having mild cramping. He checked me for dilation and I'm not dilated at all but cervix is soft. Anyone else experience/experiencing this?

Back pain? Yes, intermittent. It's one of the super fun side effects of pregnancy.

I have no experience with back labor, but I feel certain that you'll know when it's go time.

So.... I just spent the last 10 minutes with Dr. Google on this very subject! I don't see my doc until Tuesday but imthe back pain is the worst today. FX we both get some relief!!

I've been having constant low back cramping/pain with on and off contractions all afternoon too. I had awful back labor with DD and it feels similar to that. I'm currently lying on a heating pad and that eases it some. Could be signs of early labor, could just be one of the joys of being 9 months pregnant! Hang in there!

I'll be 37 weeks Sunday. I've been experiencing both along with contractions in the evenings. I asked at my 36 week check Monday to be checked. I was told they don't do that anymore due to risk of infection so I have no idea if I have any dilation or anything. This is my third pregnancy it's all part of the joys of getting closer to the due date. Hang in there.

With DD I had the worst. With this LO, it started with hip pain some two months ago. Was worst uesterday night. Like PP said it may mean something or nothin but is defnitely a pregnancy side effect
