How to prevent LO from getting sick?

My LO is showing all of the early symptoms of getting a cold: runny nose, some congestion and coughing. What can I do to help him before were in full-blown sickness?

    I'm not sure there is much you can do to prevent a virus from running its course, but a vaporizer in LO's room will definitely help with congestion.  Make sure you have saline, some type of nasal syringe, and some baby ibuprophen on hand, in the event of a fever.

    @Mindyvl‌ thanks for trying. I figured there wasn't much I could do, but was hopeful that someone new of some sort of baby safe vitamin c stuff. He had a bad cold 2 months ago and it was torture - would only sleep upright on me or my DH and would wake every hour. So I'm desperate to avoid a repeat.

    @Miss Renee that's what my husband is always trying to do! Every time we need something he's like "we'll invent it and make millions! People will buy anything for babies!"
