How long do you take progesterone?

I assume if a BFP, I'd take it until 12 weeks-ish, no matter my levels. If a BFN, though, when do I stop taking it? I swear I talked with the RE about this, but I forget when a BFN is a definite BFN.

Also, will my AF definitely not come until I stop taking it? Usually I have spotting by now (10DPO), but I'm assuming a lack of spotting isn't a sign of anything on progesterone.

My RE said to take them from 1 DPO until 12 DPO.

I have been a bit anal though and have gone until 14 hoping a miracle BFP would come due to a late implanter.....

I get AF about 2-3 days after the last suppository.

My RE has me take it until I get a - beta or my period.

I always get a period while on progesterone. Apparently if I'm gonna bleed, I'm gonna bleed.

My RE said to take it until I get AF....if I am pregnant, I will continue to take it for 10 more additional weeks.

My thought is get the BFN cycle over already. If the supps add one day more to an cycle that is negative then there is no point...

I have not tested the wait until you get your period though....

I have never actually gotten to that point in a cycle (:::cries:::) but if it's a BFP generally the progesterone stays through the first trimesterish

I was told to take HPT at 16DPIUI with FMU and if it was a BFN to stop the progesterone.

Otherwise, if it was a BFP, I needed to keep taking them till 10 wks pregnant.

Yep I bleed on them just like normal. The instructions for me were until 14dpiui, if HPT was negative then stop them or stop them when you get your period.
